I'd appreciate one more round of recruiting. I think it is early enough that while the skills, qualities, and attributes are largely discovered, the mystery still remains. But I also understand if you are feeling disheartened - it is uncanny to have five out of seven players vanish without a trace.
Moving on, however, I'd like to levitate APB, carry her to a safe distance over the edge, then Fireball the corpse in an attempt to ignite her. My math looks like this, however, which is discouraging:
Levitate (only need one success, so pretty much guaranteed). Sustain for -2.
Cast fireball (Force 3-6, makes little difference) Magic 6 + Spellcasting 5 + Power Focus 2 - Sustaining 2 - Wounds 2 = 9 dice, averaging 3 hits. Need 3 hits to place.
APB resists damage (doesn't matter)
Armor resists catching fire: Armor 6 (second skin) + Fire resist 0 - Force AP = 0-3 dice depending on Force, 1 hit or less on average vs. my net hits as a threshold.
If I don't get 3 hits, the 2d6 scatter can be bad news. If I do get 3 hits, then she's pretty much guaranteed to catch fire as those hits also count for the purposes of setting the threshold.
Lastly, Drain resist of 2-5S depending on Force, with Cha 6 + Wil 6 = 12 dice, average of 4 hits.
Is this correct?
