[OOC: Where, physically, is Brian in this? I'd sort of assume he's still in the car since, as of last mention, he's still visibly armed with a machine pistol on a quickdraw holster strapped to one side and the nastiest stun baton on the market hanging from the other. Also, none of the guards have mentioned what looks like a toddler in a custodian's outfit. I guess, first off, I want to do a judge intentions check to see if Mercedes is successfully stalling them, because with a half a minute of talking, Brian can accomplish a whole lot. If he's in 15 meters of the two Ork guards, I'd like to do a cyberware scan to see if I can get an idea of how these guys are wired so i can warn the others. Next, it's time to hack their PAN and mess with their gear. Hacking each one successively for security level access, then, once all three are mine, I'll send an across the board command to shut down everything. Wired reflexes, cybernetic muscles communication, and anything else that becomes apparent. Just lights out all over.
If he's outside the car, armed with at least his stun baton, and the guards are looking froggy, I want him to rush in and engage in melee with a charge attack. I figure if he can engage both of the orks in melee combat, it'll give them a -3 bonus to fire on him or anyone else, while he keeps their attention. If this most obvious act of aggression gets the mage's attention so that he casts on him, he has Arcane Arrestor to halve the guy's effective force, and 6 willpower dice on top of whatever counterspelling Cynthia might provide. So, basically, if it looks like trouble is coming and it's possible to use Mercedes' seduction attempt as a distraction, I'd like to try a surprise check to rush in on the two guards and hit one of them him with the stun baton. Lots of things to consider on the attack such as, +2 for charging bonus +1 for reach(?) since the guards aren't armed with melee weapons, and +1 for the personalized grip. So, total DP of 6 agl +2 skill +4 bonuses should be a respectable DP of 12. There's an additional +2 for touch only attacks if you consider stun batons to be touch only and not get extra damage from extra hits
Anyway, here's the Judge intentions roll, and the MMW scanner roll.
7d6.hits(5) → [1,2,2,4,1,1,5] = (1) God damn, at least it's not a glitch. I should never play Risk. It kills my luck forever.
4d6.hits(5) → [6,2,3,1] = (1) At least I can see all their standard grade cyber.
