@Mercedes & Woofer
[OOC:  Applying a -1 to your roll for them being suspicious, so that's 6 hits for you.  Opposed Con roll for shaman:  Charisma 4 + default -1=3 3d6.hits(5)=0.]

You pulled your bike over about half a block away from the Crushers and Woofer pulls up alongside you, his headlights still on.  You pull him out of the car and he leaves it running.  As you approach the orks with Woofer propping you up and walking with you, the two guards point their rifles at the two of you but you can see a little smile behind their tusks as they look amused at how wasted you are.

The Shaman stays his ground and does not look the least bit amused as he shouts out to Woofer in a gruff voice:

"What business do you have in the neighborhood?  Tell us quick or we'll drop you right here right now!"

Mercedes gasps at the harsh ork, "We're looking for the geisha house! I heard from one of our co-workers at Visteon that there was it was out here. Did we get lost?"

Rolling up to the place, Brian did a quick detect active/passive nodes scan followed by a general search for hidden nodes in order to find all the wifi-enabled devices in mutual signal range.  Nothing says comfort quite like maping out the relative position of every comm, car, drone or other device of interest in a few hundred to few thousand meters in every direction.

[OOC:  Extended find hidden nodes test (15) 1 complex action
Electronic warfare 4 +6 Scan +3 nanites +1 PuSHeD =
14d6.hits(5) → [1,3,6,6,6,6,3,6,6,1,1,1,5,6] = (8)
13d6.hits(5) → [5,5,5,1,2,2,1,2,4,1,5,1,3] = (4)
12d6.hits(5) → [5,3,6,5,4,1,6,3,1,1,5,5] = (6)
Jeezus.  3 seconds and I've grabbed the Matrix ID of every device in mutual signal range for 4 kilometers.

I am going to observe in detail the mage who is hanging back I want to take note of any manerisms and his speaking paterns. I am trying to observe him with the thought of possibly using my physical mask to imitate him later.

I will also try to judge intentions on all three of the guards. If they don't seem to be paying attention to me I'll start moving towards the shadows.

@B.B.:

Once you find the hidden Commlinks of the 3 Crushers, your Analyze program finds each of them to have a level 1 Operating System with a level 1 Firewalls and each running a level 1 Analyze program.

On top of that you find a very long list of hidden nodes whose signal range you are within.

@Woofer & Mercedes
The Shaman looks at Woofer and says: "The toll is 100 nuyen per person.....but the elven girl stays here with us until you come back out." He looks over at Mercedes eyeing her up and down.  "No mojo comes in the neighborhood."

@Cynthia
[OOC: Infiltration: Agility 6 + Infiltration (Urban) 4 = 10 10d6.hits(5)=3.  Visible perception test for astrally perceiving Shaman: Assensing 2 + Intuition 4 + your aura against barren city street 1 + distracted -2  = 5 5d6.hits(5)=0.  Perception test of other guards to notice you (hear or see, so i'll make traceless walk a -2): Perception 3 + Intution 4 + Distracted -2 + Traceless Walk -2= 3 3d6.hits(5)=3....shit, that was a lucky roll, only about 1% chance of getting 3 hits on 3 dice.  Since you initiated the roll, the Crushers are defending, so a tie goes in their favor.  You have 1 point of Edge left so if you want to use it now to reroll your misses on your infiltration test let me know.  If not, then roll a surprise test with a +3 and roll initiative.]

You realize that the Crusher Shaman has not seen your aura since you have been inside of the vehicle and the glass casts an astral shadow.  You see him talking to Woofer and Mercedes up ahead and you decide to take advantage of his distraction and you flip the cabin light from "door" to "off".  You slowly open the car door, none of the Crushers notice and once you step out you close it without latching it.  You slowly creep towards the shadow the top of the wall makes with the ground, your chest no more than a few centimeters off the ground, when suddenly a viscously ugly devil rat bolts out of the shadows and scurries past you toward the other side of the street.  You freeze and quickly look back toward the Crushers to see if they heard!....

@Everyone:

[OOC: If Cynthia decides to save her last point of edge for later, then BB, Woofer, and Mercedes just roll Initiative.]

I'm going to use my edge point. (Hope it doesn't come back to haunt me)

My reroll of failures is 7 dice so here it goes
7d6 → [6,2,3,1,6,3,1] = (22)

That gives me two more successes. At this point I will engage the chameleon suit. I'm going to try and slide around the guards. If they start to act hostile to Mercedes or Woofer I'll attack with my taser otherwise I will continue sneaking

@Cynthia:

As soon as the devil rat scurries across the street, you quickly engaged your ruthenium polymer and as the guards look over to the sound of the rat they don't seem to notice you at all.

[OOC:  I'll say that with trace-less walk and your chameleon suit will give them a -4 to notice you at all, sight or sound.  Infiltration (Urban) 4 + Agility 6 = 10  10d6.hits(5)=3.  Opposed perception test using guards Perception 3 + Intuition 4 + Group 1 +ruthenium/traceless -4 + distracted -2 = 2 2d6.hits(5)=0.  Forgot "has active enhancements", wouldn't make a difference.  Shaman checks: Assensing 2 + Intuition 4 + Barren street 1 + distracted -2= 5 (ruthenium polymer does not apply for astral) 5d6.hits(5)=1.

The shaman's gaze is concentrated on Mercedes and he doesn't even notice your aura slide along the wall and slip behind him much less do the guards notice your crystaline form which just looks like a little tear in the fabric of the night.  You quickly whip around the edge of the entrance to the wall and press your back to the graffitied concrete, pulling out your taser and ready to strike.

@Everyone:
[OOC: any subvocal communication among the group will be subject to a perception test by the Crushers with a threshold of 5]

"No Mojo?", Mercedes pouts at the guard, walking over to him slowly, "But I'm harmless! I work on spell theory in Visteon and can barely summon a sprite! Surely, you don't think I could be a threat? Besides,", she smiles and winks at the guard, (in Or'zet) "I'm not with him..."

[OOC: Oh, going all out on being seductive and convincing:

Language check for communicating in Or'zet (5d6.hits(5)=2)
Con roll, spending a point of edge to get maximum bank for the buck. (18d6.hitsopen(5,6) =9)

Yeah, the pacifism's really kicked in. She wants to avoid a fight if possible.]

[OOC: Where, physically, is Brian in this?  I'd sort of assume he's still in the car since, as of last mention, he's still visibly armed with a machine pistol on a quickdraw holster strapped to one side and the nastiest stun baton on the market hanging from the other.  Also, none of the guards have mentioned what looks like a toddler in a custodian's outfit.  I guess, first off, I want to do a judge intentions check to see if Mercedes is successfully stalling them, because with a half a minute of talking, Brian can accomplish a whole lot.  If he's in 15 meters of the two Ork guards, I'd like to do a cyberware scan to see if I can get an idea of how these guys are wired so i can warn the others.  Next, it's time to hack their PAN and mess with their gear.  Hacking each one successively for security level access, then, once all three are mine, I'll send an across the board command to shut down everything.  Wired reflexes, cybernetic muscles communication, and anything else that becomes apparent.  Just lights out all over.

If he's outside the car, armed with at least his stun baton, and the guards are looking froggy, I want him to rush in and engage in melee with a charge attack.  I figure if he can engage both of the orks in melee combat, it'll give them a -3 bonus to fire on him or anyone else, while he keeps their attention.  If this most obvious act of aggression gets the mage's attention so that he casts on him, he has Arcane Arrestor to halve the guy's effective force, and 6 willpower dice on top of whatever counterspelling Cynthia might provide.  So, basically, if it looks like trouble is coming and it's possible to use Mercedes' seduction attempt as a distraction, I'd like to try a surprise check to rush in on the two guards and hit one of them him with the stun baton.  Lots of things to consider on the attack such as, +2 for charging bonus +1 for reach(?) since the guards aren't armed with melee weapons, and +1 for the personalized grip.  So, total DP of 6 agl +2 skill +4 bonuses should be a respectable DP of 12.  There's an additional +2 for touch only attacks if you consider stun batons to be touch only and not get extra damage from extra hits

Anyway, here's the Judge intentions roll, and the MMW scanner roll.
7d6.hits(5) → [1,2,2,4,1,1,5] = (1)  God damn, at least it's not a glitch.  I should never play Risk.  It kills my luck forever.  :-[
4d6.hits(5) → [6,2,3,1] = (1) At least I can see all their standard grade cyber.

@Mercedes:
[OOC: Roll to see if he understands what you said: Intuition 4 + Or'zet 1 = 5 (1) 5d6.hits(5)=1.  Your desired results would be disastrous to the guards -5, but he's attracted to you +2 so I'll take away 3 dice starting from the last one rolled.  So that takes away 1 hit, leaving you with 8.  I'll just call that a success cuz a glitch wouldn't result in much.  He's going to try and assense once more, and if he can't determine that you're more powerful than you say you are (3 hits) then he'll go out on a limb and let you in.  Assensing 2 + Intuition 4+trying again -2 = 4 (3) 4d6.hits(5)=1.]

When he hears you say something in Or'zet , the Shaman smiles derisively and looks at the two other guards and they all chuckle.  He seems to scan the space around your body and then looks you in the eyes again.  Responding in English "Ok lady, i'll let you and your car in..."  He looks at Woofer and motions for him to stay put and tells the guards to watch him for a second and then starts backing up into the entrance to go behind the wall out of sight from Woofer, motioning for you to follow.  In he says something in Or'zet [OOC: 5d6.hits(5)=2] and you understand.  "Come with me over here for a sec....c'mon, you wanna go in don'tcha?"

[OOC: I don't want to come across like a 14 year old kid and make every encounter with orks have to involve graphic sex but what do you think is gonna happen when you try and seduce a thug?  Hey, the Con roll was resoundingly successful!! :-\  Anyways, he's on the western edge of the entrance which is opposite the edge Cynthia is behind.]

@B.B.:
[OOC: roll to hack their devices and you would need Admin access (+6) to access cyberware.  Roll the Firewall+Analyze (your stealth rating,CA) extended test alongside your hack roll to see if you got detected.  As soon as you do get detected, Firewall jumps up by 4.  I would roll it but I gotta go to a barbeque right now!!]
The car is 10 meters from the group of guards and as you engage your radar you can see on the two armed guards metallic wires running along the nerve endings, a data jack behind the ear, and little fibers communicating with muscles.  You can also see a few grenades inside their vests.  The shaman has a side-arm holstered under his arm and you see a datajack behind his ear and cyber-eyes.  He then disappears from your view behind the wall.

Mercedes pouts at the ork's invite, "I can't right away, cherie. I'm the bankroll for the night. But catch me as we're leaving..." She smiles and blows him a kiss to make their way inside.

[OOC: Yeah, that's how I'd do it to... Curse of being a 'babe'! ;D The interesting thing is, the way I got Mercedes in my head is that it's not entirely out of the question. But for now, the Con roll to convince him that she'll be back... Con Roll (16d6.hits(5)=9)]

Woofer gives them an uncomfortable smile, and follows Mercedes.

((Yeah, Woofer knows to just let those that can sweet talk, do it. :D ))
