Brian busied himself with his stretches.  Climbing walls and shimmying though pipes was such a massive pain in the ass.

You cross the street walking away from the car and move towards the cross street that branches off the current one.  You look all around and as soon as you're out of sight of a few people hanging around the entrance to their residential buildings you slip on your face-mask and engage the ruthenium polymer.  You see that an alley runs behind the Pearl Tongue and a fire escape runs up the back of the plasticrete building.  Silently making your way up the black metal grated stairway you pass a few tinted windows which seem to emanate the muted sound of moans and groans but you can't be sure that's what you're hearing.  Once you make your way to the roof you notice an entrance door for a stairwell which runs down through the building.  It seems to have a mechanical lock on it.

The establishment looks closed as you come closer to the front door and as soon as you reach it an AR screen pops up saying <<Sorry we're closed, come back tonight at 9:00>> and then the same thing in hiragana and kanji's.

"A stairwell from the roof with a mechanical lock. I don't see any cameras or surveillance. Are you coming up B.B. or am I going from here alone?"

I'll pull my lockpick set out and take a look around the roof again looking for any surveillance or intrusion countermeasures.

Looks at Woofer, but makes sure her Comm sends this out in the next burst, "Great, looks like the place is closed. What now?"

B.B. saw the VPN light up with a new message from Mercedes. 

"Closed?  What?"
<<You're not getting the menu popping up on you?  This is getting weird already.  First my software guy has gone quiet after relaying Fastjack's message, and now I'm getting personalized AROs in hidden mode?  Could be an attempt to communicate.  Or at least a way into their system.  You might want to pull back while I check this out.>>

@Mercedes:
In the Astral plane you do not see anything that would stand out in any way except for the emotions lingering around the place.  Sex always involves an incredible braid of vibrant and dark dull colors which can be very confusing for anyone trying to assense what they're seeing.  The colors of the astral signatures wafting through the air however are more on the dull-dark side which is consistent with this place being a house of ill-repute.

@B.B.:
The ARO unfolds with the title <<Tonight's selection of beauties for every taste>>.  You see a whole list of women drop down and the icon in front of each is a rotating 3D body shot of them in nothing but a teddy, bikini or other lingerie.  About 30 women total and only 10 of them are highlighted to be working tonight's shift.  Right next to each icon is also a pull-down menu which has the selections: <<Personality: Secretary, Dominatrix, Virgin, etc., etc...>> which can be selected for each girl.

Mercedes looks the building over, feeling the dashed hopes and discarded dreams of the place permeate the air around the building. She looks over at Woofer and shrugs, "Maybe we should just knock and see if anyone's home?"

She steps up to the door, looking for a buzzer or anything and rings it. If there isn't one, she'll bang on the door.

After waiting a minute which seems like forever when on top of a building and not sure if you are being watched or not.
"Mercedes, What did you see? Are we a go or not?" long pause "Someone talk to me."

Again I will look around the roof for any surveillance or anything that might be jamming my signal

After getting Cynthia's burst comm, she texts back that the place seems normal and nothing's standing out that anything's more than what it appears.

@Mercedes:
You see an old buzzer system with a CRT screen similar to the one outside of SAM's apartment building.  This building was probably even a functional low-end apartment building at some point in the 40's or 50's.  One of the buttons says "Lobby" and you press it.  The greenish screen lights up and you have a hard time trying to contain you're amusement when a the face of an asian female troll in a kimono appears.  From the proportions of her face and the size of her tusks it's obvious that she's a troll even though her horns have been filed down or removed and her black hair is tied up in an intricate japanese bun held in place by two sticks.  The rest of her face seems to be painted white and her ample lips tipped with a small little lipstick design typical of a geisha.  Her almond shaped eyes however do look a little drowsy and it seems you may have woken her up.  "Welcome to the Pearl Tongue but we are sorry to inform you that we are closed." she says in a standard UCAS English accent and as politely as she can muster up.  "My ladies must have their beauty rest and we will open at 9:00, however if you visit our Matrix address <<commcode:320@#@090AFD>> I'm certain we can interest you in some very satisfying virtual companions.".

You don't see any real security at all except for the lock on the door.
