Free action to declare that you will use counterspelling dice. So, you can declare how many counterspelling dice this init.
The pool refreshes at the beginning of each turn, and you use a free action to declare that you are going to be counterspelling, or you can use an interrupt action that is -5 to your init.  And at that point, any spell attacks you can use any counterspelling dice you wish. So at the top of the round, you would need to use your free action again

will declare the full five on the team as per last turn.
Feathers will be ini 3 after the interrupt, and imveros will get 5 defense dice against those death touches

Sadly i only get 5 dice total and not to each spell.

If I am right, all the others ahead of Yelena have taken their turn this pass.  I apologize if that is not correct.  She takes a simple action shot at the creature.

Not too bad.  Any damage not dodged will be 9 + net hits at AP-2.

We should be hurting it a bit, I hope.

It looks like the creature failed to soak 4 of my damage so it is hurt a bit, then Masq shocked it.  Maybe we are affecting it.

Between that and the 4 physical, unless spirits follow different wound rules, ini has certainly been affected :). Yes, it isFeathers' go and then this pass will be complete.

ok, lets play sensible,
Free action: direct mages to attack with everything they've got
Complex action: cast heal on self (F6) Healing: 11d6t5 3 3 boxes healed, putting me up to 5 physical boxes
Drain resist: Drain: 8d6t5 2 no drain (thankfully)
