I'm always leery of release dates though...

There is much truth here. But, as I said, a legitimate target. Had Jordan come out and said: "July 1st, 2015 is our release date!" I'd be looking at my system sideways.

Agreed, absolutely. And it does seem like they'll be using the Director's Cut engine (with potential improvements), so that's great news.

I have thrown money at the problem.  I anticipate only happiness from now on.  Isn't that a tradition or something in Hong Kong anyway?

Just so long as you don't get paid out in Ghost/Hell Money. :P
Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

Heh. I feel the devs are shown posing in front of screens displaying the covers to Runner Havens and Shadows of Asia just to appease my fears :p

Backed it, of course.

Too bad the rewards from the 55$ level must come with the Digital toolbox (which I already have). 55$ is a little bit overpriced considering I do not want the toolbox, so I've pledged 25$. If they create a 45$ reward level (including the 55$ awards but without the toolbox), I would gladly pay more. :)

That being said, I really wish they hit the 300 000$ stretch goal! :)

The project is already funded. Wow. Let's hit those higher goals.

I'll be honest, none of the backer levels (outside of the $15 one) interest me enough to break out the wallet. I like the bag, but not at $150.

Folks who frequent this forum are not the principle audience for this kickstarter. Not that this is a bad thing, rather it's quite the opposite. With the PDFs as options this campaign is set up to potentially pull new blood into CGL's side of the house.

An elf in Seattle whispered his prediction to me prior to the launch of the campaign. $500k in 24h. I think that's a bit much, I'm guessing around $300k in that timeframe.

If that is the case, let's hope they add even more sub-quests in stretch goals and maybe a DLC (Dragonfall turned out pretty good after all).

I definitely agree on the levels. I can't justify going from $25 to $75 when all I really want is the game, the e-novel, and the new Hong Kong sourcebook. If they add alacarte options I'd pay 10-25 USD extra for the Hong Kong sourcebook (upping the pledge from 25 to 35-50), but I could care less about the toolbox seeing as how I already have it and the artbook isn't really my thing.

100k in less than 2 hours? Definitely looking forward to see the 24 hour and 30 day results.

Now that I think about it, I'm a little not happy with HBS' timing on this kickstarter. It's going to end three days prior to the Lunar New Year. I won't be able to give HBS a proper hong bao.

I backed at the $35 level - I am happy to spend a little on things I won't use just to help this project really STTTRREEEETTTTCCCCCHHHH those goals.
