Thanks for the answers. I've upped my pledge to 100$. I wanted to hunt for this book anyway on Amazon or Ebay and getting the PDF is a better deal (plus all the other rewards!).

Now,l have to buy a tablet to read the file (been planning to buy that anyway) : I don't like reading novels on my computer.

Been hearing this for a while..Only fiction that's been released in print though was Spells and Crome..I believe any of the
lines about Shadowrun novels when I can hold one in my hands from Barnes and Noble.

At least three new SR novels are already available in print from B&N: Fire & Frost, Hell on Water, and Dark Resonance. They're also available in digital formats (I've read all three of them on Kindle myself).
And at least three more are on the way :)

Huh? Really?  wonder why I haven't seen them on the shelves at my local barnes and noble, then.

Just thought I'd chime in on this - they hit their million dollar goal!  This means we'll be getting an extra campaign geared at Prime Runners.  :)  Very excited.
Feel free to keep any karma you earned illicitly, it's on us.

Your bookstore sucks.
Power corrupts.
Absolute power is kinda neat.

Three possibilities

A) Store copies already purchased and they are awaiting restock.  Did you check to see if they had them on re-order at the desk? Also some smaller stores may only be assigned so many copies and no auto restock code, so once sold they do not replenish unless specifically requested by customer.

B) Smaller stores (C, D & E sized) have less shelf space and may or may not get every new release, based on a crazy formula headquarters uses to distribute the books.  I used to work at B&N and sometimes the logic of what goes on the shelf automatically can drive you crazy trying to figure it out.

C) They got nicked or may already be reserved for someone and the since the system still shows them as 'in stock' until an inventory check, the system would not be restocking it automatically.

But in either case you should still be able to go to the desk and request them to order it in for you and only takes a few days to come in unless the warehouse is out and awaiting a restock.

Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

Without asking I don't think my bookstore would ever stock a Shadowrun novel. My LGS doesn't even stock the RPG. the only time we get product is when I ask that it be ordered for me. I have a standing order of +1 for anything that relates to the universe but I catch things in discussion here that they miss on the distributors listings.

I also buy my SR and BT novels from my LGS. It costs more (maybe 0.50 cents) but they need my biz far more than B&N

The Shadowrun Returns Anthology was really good, so we can hope the book's quality will be the same for this new project.

I was wishing more for a return of James Kincaid (from Zimmerman novella), but that will have to wait it seems.  ;D
It's comin', it's comin'.  Sheesh.  What're you, my editor?  ;)

I hardly read any SR novels. But I loved his other works for BT especially.

I could go for another tale of Wolf & Raven.

I spoke with him a coupe years ago and he is still interested in a SR and finishing his wolf and raven storyline. He has kept tabs on the universe and knows what they have been up to....but would not share any details, which makes perfect sense:)

BACKED! - 1.2 million. I believe that puts us in the top 15 for money raised at KS for video game.

As for novels I would like more of Wolf and Raven but my favorite will always be Nigel Findley and Nyx Smith.  Black Madonna by Carl Sargent & Marc Gascoigne was a fun read and Jak Koke and Lisa Smedman did a great job near the end of the FASA years.
