You all meandered out into the cold morning air and had a pootle about Darlington town picking up a few bits and bobs from the shops.
You drew a few stares from the locals, Mams especially, but no-one gave you any hassle.
Eventually you headed back to the van in the multi-storey carpark by the train station and loaded your kit into it, Ena still playing the chirpy tour-guide and you dumped as much of your stuff into the storage locker would hold and then filled the spaces under seats, the spare tire compartment and all the other nooks and crannies.
It was going to be a cosy/i] couple of days, especially without shower facilities!
Ena clicked the internal screens on and connected to the pop up host that Bex had arranged.
//Morning. Hope the train ride was pleasant, unfortunately you've all got a few days of the wilds to balance things out a touch. You've all accepted the job, and we expect results within 3 days at the latest. I want a full infiltration and evaluation of the house (the screens showed a montage of stills from a drone's recon footage), and these outbuildings here (the screens lit up with images from an aerial or satellite shot, circled and arrowed to show direction from the main house. We suspect the rest of the nearby grounds to be hiding other facilities, so keeping a keen eye and surveying the area will be necessary.
The wildlife is not known for being friendly, and the weather is a bit perky this time of year, so don't get eaten and don't freeze to death. Not until you've sent reports to me anyway. Redline has my details, I expect a report of each day's activities and findings to be sent by midnight. Questions?//
