I'm fine with the pacing, but yeah, during parts where input from all members is critical you might need to give peeps some time. Because we are all over the world here, there will be at least 8 hour gaps between postings once a day per player as people go to sleep. In my case, the delay is closer to 10 or 12 as I usually don't have time to post when I get up until after I get in to work (so eight hours of sleep, an hourish of morning routine, a half hour commute, and then however long it takes to get situated in the office, which depends heavily on what's going on that day). I'm a night owl and work the late shift, so my post schedule tends to align better with yours (Siren) so in my case you may not notice the delay as much as others, but it is still something to be aware of. I think that the whole mudslide ordeal was dealt with in the space of about two hours so many folks were likely sleeping and just did not have the opportunity to react.
I'm in favor of a more rapid pace in general, but I can see how with such wildly differing timezones we might have to make allowances.
