So my players have decided to try and pawn off the body of a cybered individual they killed recently. How have you handled this?

I have some ideas rolling around in my head, to use it as an introduction to Tamanous, through a shadowy cyber-doc or fence perhaps. I don't mind them getting some payoff, but looking for something maybe a little uneasy, uncomfortable. Something where they're not going to just start body-bagging every guy they kill in the future, to bring to the local happy recycling center for easy cash.

A lot depends on how far you want to let them do this.  Remember runners will take everything but the kitchen sink if given the chance, do you really want to add corpsejacking to the list?

If your runners are that strapped for money they are considering selling body parts/cyber, maybe you should also re-evaluate how much they are getting paid per run as this may be a sign they do not feel run payouts are meeting their expectations.

Are you really wanting to deal with Tamanous though?  They are more about the meat, though of course they do recover/recycle cyber.   Some seedy streetdocs might take second hand cyber for their own reusing without necessarily messing with the big T.

Well you should make them sweat a bit to find the contact, afterall most streetdocs are not just going to take a body off your hands out of the blue like that.
Too much chance they will think it is a possible set-up by the cops or someone unless they really know you.

A fixer might know someone who might know someone to offload the cyber on, though they will probably get sent to a particularly seedy part of town and said streetdoc might take the rest of the body off their hands to dispose of it, though if they try and negotiate a bit may give them a bit for the rest of the meat.

So they get a small initial payout, with a promise of maybe better payouts now they know the team is ok, plus now they are on someone's radar as looking to move meat.

Edit: Let them hock some more cyber (and a small amount for the meat) a few times to see how they like a taste of the biz.

Now you get to decide to leave it this level or do you want to introduce the T Factor?

If the former, continue with bodychopshop, though you may throw some curve balls from time to time, like other persons looking for the missing bodies, cops, rival body shops ... Having one of the team gets KO'd and dragged off by a gang known to deal with body chop shops is a fun bit of irony and lets the team be on the receiving end as they race to save all their buddy's bits.

If the latter, a run or two later, have one of the runners get an anonymous commlink message with a one time use response code to see if they were looking to sell any other 'acquisitions'. If they say no, they don't get asked again, but if they respond yes, further instructions may be made.  Attempts to backtrack this should face heavy rolls to defeat as it zigzags through multiple layers of security and ultimately will lead to another fixer.  Keep track of this and maybe run some trace attempts along the way by the systems to try and locate the runners, their decker may jack out if he is suddenly being targeted by tracking programs rather than tangle with them, plus it makes the runners aware they are dealing with some serious folk.

Then drop the team a message saying they have a special request to fill.  A name and location is given as to where to find this subject and any parameters (alive but KO'd, dead but taking especial care not to mess up the lungs/heart, etc..)

Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

Organleggers in general are also discussed in Vice.

First, figure out how much the flesh and cyber of the corpse is worth.  It's okay to benchmark this - 10k for each limb, 100k for each level of wired reflexes, that sort of thing.  Do a quick sum, so you have your baseline - let's say 250k.  Now knock a fifth off the top, because used is never as good as new.  You're down to 200k, which is a nice round number.  Now, let's move to 'the person', the one they're selling to.

Think of the slimiest, creepiest guy you can.  Maybe he's got two buckets of hair gel on his head; maybe he chain-smokes.  Maybe he's got a greasy smile, and when he shows his teeth they're all filed, whatever.  This is their contact.  He's willing to buy, but remember that their options are what he offers or nothing, and he KNOWS it.  Which means they'll get maybe 10%; after all, they should be paying HIM to dispose of evidence, eh?  So on a wired-2 several-cyberlimbs monster, they're getting ... 20k.  Useful, but not something to bust their ass over.
