To be true, Arc didn't even think of taking a cab...that would get her to the Stardust on her own terms...something else that NineLives would find fitting and appreciative. However, her expression notably curdled at the thought of depending on people for rides...she was so used to being independent.
"Frag, I need a new seta wheels..." She muttered to herself before looking up at him, giving a nod. "Sounds like that might be alright. I'll work my own way home...just give me a sec to talk to mah peeps here, aight?"
Turning to the others, it didn't take a genius to see she was putting on a brave front. Her cigarette spent, she tossed the butt on the ground and dug into it with her heel. "I know we a team..but if this club be as crazy as they say it is, I wouldn't be able to rest knowing I put chummers like you at risk. It's drek...I know that..." She lowered her gaze and gave her head a scratch, thinking about the words.
"Ah...well, should the worst happen...Y'all get a fair split of the garage. Tuska, I left my plans for the bike on a datastick, and got most of tha materials already. If you can work it, it's yours, same with the drone. Firefly, Hrock's dropping off a package at my place tomorrow. It's yours, don't want you to forget it, aight? Marco, I don't got much mojo stuff I would think useful for ya, but I got a pretty good trid library of tech stuff, if you wantin' it. That and the dress I used for the club, you appreciated it better than I. Yelena...Srui, I want you to hold onto this." She reached back, pulling out her Ares Predator, complete with holster and extra clips and offering it to her. "At best, you're holding it for me, aight?"
