The implanted deck augmentation in your hand is connected directly to your brain via your nervous system. The deck itself can be used as a bridge between your brain and other wireless devices. In short, it
provide you with DNI (no need to wear trodes or getting a datajack). If you have an internal cyberdeck then there is also no need for external screens (goggles, contacts etc.) or devices to control augmented reality (such as AR gloves). It is all projected and controlled mentally directly with your brain.
How do you sign up? You get DNI by wearing trodes, or having an implanted datajack, commlink, or cyberdeck
Besides their wireless functionality, almost all cyberware devices are equipped with a neural interface (not to be confused with DNI) that lets you mentally activate and control their functions.
There is no need to turn your hand wireless ON since you can control it directly with a neural interface. If the deck is fully bricked then you just slide it out, spend a few minutes working on it with toolkit, take a simple hardware test to repair at least one box of matrix damage to recover full functionality and then just slide it back in. No need for cybertechnology, biotechnology, medicine or first aid.
The idea would be that modifying a device by adding extra components does not create nested devices - it's one device.
Your entire arm will not stop working if you have: a cybernetic arm, spend 1 capacity on a fingertip compartment, fit a wireless enabled monowhip in it.... and then someone brick your monowhip.
