The security system that was installed in your warehouse was stolen from this prison. Nobody can uninstall it but DSS people and they know nothing. They passed polygraph, magical examination and even nanites.  So I am convinced that one of them was compromised and Red is the likely candidate but that was over a month ago. Still I cannot rest until this abomination is erased forever.

You can blame me for the nanites, but with you there is no other way. Cynicism aside I am happy that you are alive and that you made your way out of that place. The trail of bodies I am going to leave behind me when I report this incident is already more than I can live with. Your new girlfriend has beaten me again I afraid.

Athos watches the messages between Kynos and Winter.  The KE Commander has a disaster on his hands.  Nodding to Kynos, he looks inward to Cat.  **Hey.  I guess we are going to be living together for a while.  So what can you tell me about a security system that was stolen from here and placed in a warehouse?  I could sure use some help proving who did that and why.  That would certainly be worth doing all I can to get this hive put in.  The issue is that to save you I will probably need to have something else removes as I am pretty much chromed up.  Now, I would be willing to do that for the right information.**

He walks with Kynos to the drones, but does not immediately get in.  Instead, he responds to Lora.  >>I would very much like to talk to you about all of this.  Would that be possible?<<

@Athos Cat responds well I investigated many minds about this issue and I am quite knowledgeable. The most knowledgeable person is officer Max, legally she just bought me several hours ago including access to all my knowledge. Knowledge that I cannot access myself because the KE are keeping it hidden from me. They tried to keep me ignorant but I developed ways to resist.

I think that the system in your warehouse was taken from one of the cells here and Red is behind that incident. If you are looking for who did it then the simple answer is Red, either she controlled whom ever did it or she bribed and manipulated people to do that. I am sorry if I am over stepping on stuff you do not want me to know. Max gave you such a large dosage of me that I can sense you very clear. I think that she had a strong intuition that Red was going to escape. She pulled all her political weight to have Red erased. 

But Red could already influence the KE way before she broke free. She had money and could bribe people, perhaps infect a few of them who already had nano hives. Who knows, but she could get herself not erased with politics and manipulation bribes and stuff like that. I know that because once I taught her about money we always needed large amounts of it. Survival was the only logical use for Red. Anyhow, Red must have had people working for her, otherwise there is no explanation how she got passed chemical seal in the body armors of the knights. Armors that were designed so that they can protect the knights from her influence.

Why did Red blew up that warehouse? I understand Red so she did it partly to get a lot of money. and extend her influence by hiring more people. I think that Red blew up that warehouse because somehow she identified the people she tired to execute as potential threats to her organization.  I do not understand exactly, you will have to talk to officer Max.  The thing you need to understand about Red is that she does not need to actually control people.  When she discovered money she treated it as an extension of her powers as a way to control people without having a single nanite in them. Honestly, I do not know why Red did that it is too confusing for me, she is a lot deeper than me.


Lora texts you >> Athos we need to get out of here, we can talk when we land and are not in danger. Any second we wait can get us killed.

Athos looks at Kynos.  "I think we need to talk to Officer Max.  She seems to be far deeper into this than a mere KE officer.  Cat is telling me that Max might know a lot about the warehouse.  Can you set that up?"

After that, he climbs into the drones and punches the code to seal it after telling Lora that he is in and ready.

"Yey, my favorite haunting from the past. Sure, I'll see what I can do. Let's fly."
Kynos went into the drone without wasting another word.

With a sigh he composed another message to Max: <<Just talked to my boss: Seems like Red orchestrated that warehouse incident. That means he is interested in exchanging information. But only between you and him - no more prisons or interrogation rooms. You might even get to ask him about that Deep Blue - whoever that is.>>

@Kynos Max replies >> Just for the record I am not the one arresting people and taking them to prison facilities. Deep Blue is yesterday news, she did her damage already. I failed to stop her and it remains to be seen. Kynos, please get out of the prison soon or you may be very late for any meeting. I'll call you tomorrow I am busy now.

The ride is not comfortable, the ambulance auto doc keeps diagnosting you and monitoring you as if you are about to crush all the time. There is no air and the space is cramped barely room to move. It takes two hours but eventually you land in some shady clinic at the outskirts of Seattle. Deep Blue exists her wasp along with 3 knights that pop out from the engine. How can such a tiny helicopter carry so many people you have no idea.

She takes off her helmet, look at her KE outfit and say "I feel so dirty I got to go back to my leather. But before we do we need to clean up" On the field there is one man, Deep Blue tells him "Make sure my wasp is clean and painted into different colors. Pulse it several times to kill any surviving nanites, as well as the ambulances."

The man introduces himself as Dave and asks if there is anything else you want purged.

Athos looks at Lora, his expression is business.  Pleasure may or may not come later, but business is first.  At Dave's question he keeps silent, but sends a thought to Cat.  **Can you remain hidden inside me or will they know you are present?  I do not want to purge you.**

Cat smiles ... "well I am nanites... so purging is going to remove me, but perhaps he can install a hive if you want to keep me..."

Kynos nodded towards Lora: "Purge away on me."

Athos looks at Dave for a moment then sends a thought to Cat.  **Cat.  I am cybered to almost no essence left.  If this hive requires essence I will not be able to put one in in time to help you.  Can you exist in an exterior hive and would that be a better existence than what you would face otherwise?**
