@Athos Dave has up to level 3, the external system has double maintaince costs due to it being less effective. Also it takes weeks*rating to exchange software on the nanites.

@Maxwell the flight home was a bitch  (you are there with dave) but you made it again. Disappointment and bored and hunting undead seems a lot more attractive than fighting pesky nanites that cannot be perceived. You arrive and happily agree to be purged.

Looking down at the ground in frustration he asks himself: "How the fuck did I get infected in the first place?"  Doing his damnedest to recollect when and where he was exposed to the nanites.  "Oh wait nevermind, I remember taking off my helmet to smoke a cigarette.  That probably did it."  Maxwell glances up at Dave and asks: "You certain you got all that shit out of me?"

Kynos was shaking his head after the pulse - the implant in his eye was rebooting which for some reason always caused a mild tinitus.
A mild tremble in his arms showed that the reaction enhancers also had restarted.

Kynos was still in this mildly elated mood that followed a successful dance with Death or in this case his little sister Lifelong Incarceration.

@Athos Deep Blue is a bit shocked that you do not want to get purged "These are dangerous I hope you know what you are doing."

Athos smiles at Kynos as he talks about the nanites.  He does not have the same feelings about them but keeps his mouth closed.  He turns to the technician, "Dave, I will take that rating 3 hive you got.  Please toss in some instructions."

He looks at Lora for a moment, then smiles.  "Lots of things are dangerous, Deep Blue.  Some more than others.  Thank you for the rescue and for the ambulances, although I am not sure what the value of the drone is except to sell it.  I have no drone skills and cannot pilot the thing.  But I may find someone who can."  He pauses.  "I do have questions that you might be able to answer.  Or maybe point me in the right direction for an answer.  Do you have time to chat about what happened at that warehouse and how I can clear my name?"

@Athos Deep Blue say "About the ambulances, they are worth quite a bit, 12k if I recall correctly. I doubt you can get that much fencing them tough. Your call I do not mind keeping them if you are in a generous mood.  About talking sure thing... Care to grab something to drink?
Dave say, I'll have it ready and equipped fro you in two days.

@Maxwell - Dave scans you again for Nanites and say

Maxwell thanks the man and heads on his way back home, stopping first at the Hilton to pick up his lucky leather jacket.

I don't really have anything else I need to say or do.  So we can call it a day if you like.

Athos nods to Dave.  "I will take it.  May I leave the ambulance here for a bit?  I will send someone up to look it over.  What would it cost to have it painted to not be KE?"

Turning to Lora, he says, "I would love a drink.  I need to go shower the prison smell off, so shall we say the NH bar in a couple of hours?"

Then to Kynos.  "You seem to know this Max.  Can you talk to her about what happened?  I still have my name to clear and a boss to find.  Maybe she can help with that."

"Back in the ADL we were in the same Bundeswehr unit. Shit happened. And yes I'll talk with her, but you should be present. Otherwise the emotional baggage will drag this out unnecessarily.

My next step after that would be finding Venom, knocking him out and than massaging his ribs till he spills what he knows. Afterwards I'll shop around who pays the most for his death."

Athos nods.  "Hmmm.  OK.  Why don't we save Max until tomorrow, then.  See if you can get an appointment.  Do what you can to find this Venom and get him to talk.  You have my code, call me if you need any help."  He nods to Deep Blue and heads down to the street level where he catches a cab to the NH.  In the cab, he sends a quick note to Minnie.  >>Yulia.  It's Athos.  Finally broke out of prison.  Working a couple of leads.  How are you doing?  Are you still with Strawberry or at the hotel?<<

@Maxwell when you reach home there is a man waiting for you by the door. He is wearing a business suit.  "Sovereign I presume, he say as you approach."
 

@Athos, Deep Blue will already be at the bar of the NH along with a female elf, that is dressed in white and refers to herself as Luna. When you arrive Deep Blue introduces you two and the waiter asks about what drink you are going to order.

In the background there is an open trid with a large box display. There are initial reports of an airstrike in Salish-Shide council territory. There is no formal response from the council about this airstrike but the topic is the center story of the news. Until someone switches to a game of combat biking.
