Approaching the corner, Calico has an involuntary mental image of rounding it, and being riddled with what sounds like some very large bullets. *Let's see how bad they want that dwarf geeked* she thinks, stopping a few meters shy of the corner and summoning an illusion.

The dwarven investigator materializes out of thin air near the wall and then wanders into view, complete with his wounded shoulder, blood running down his clothes. "Hello?" he whines as he staggers unsteadily, clearly confused and oblivious to the shooting going on down the street. "I need help here!" he wails, clutching his bloodied shoulder.

Kumiho lays out the scene that he last saw before Throne's video feed cutout due to the jamming was sending to the team. Hoping he can still reach everyone through the comms, he internally communicates his next plan to them, Hey team. I have the area jammed, but I'm going to try a drive my bike by to tag their van in passing.

With that he starts his Motorcycle up and clips his deck to his person (still set to jam) so it doesn't fall. He also reaches into a his inter coat pocket and pulls out a Stealth Tag. He'll have one shot at this and preys that he doesn't frag it up.

To send a little courage his way he shouts, Phighting!, to himself and speeds off down the street in the direction that will lead him towards the enemy and throne's location.

Cal can hear the roar of a motorcycle dimly in the distance as he takes a calculated step out from cover to pin down the drone.  His rounds hit home and the drone careens to the side for several moments, trailing smoke.  It manages to right itself just as it disappears from view down an alley.

At that moment, the ork dives into the van and closes the door behind him as the van's rear wheels begin a slight burnout.

Cal notices the dwarf down near the corner of the building and sees him shimmer with a faint transparency. Clearly it's a diversion of some sort, though it's uncertain whether it's one from his own team or theirs. "Whose decoy is that?" He sends via subvocal. Regardless, it's not more pressing than the drone hovering in front of him.

Thinking of which, Kumiho's jamming must be what's fragging it up. Might be worth getting a shot off without smartlink and seeing how it handles it. Gotta shake this fragger sonner rather than later anyhow.

Cal ducks around the side of the dumpster, sending a burst of rounds at the drone. He smirks in a moment of satisfaction as it trails smoke in its escape.

However, he sees the ork dive into the van as he looks back. "Frag!" He curses loudly as he takes off after the van, pointing his weapon.

He squeezes the trigger, sending a couple of rounds ineffectually at the fleeing van. When he comes to his sense and realizes the futility of doing so, he starts running back to the car.

Knowing he needs to make sure the team has the necessary information to act accordingly, he takes the time to send a detailed subvocal message. "Sniper has made it into a getaway van and I can't stop him. The drone has fled down an alley; smoking, but still in play. Planning to get back to the car ASAP in case pursuit is possible. If anyone's got ideas on stopping or tracking the van, let me know."

black-thorn turns to run, nearly slamming into Calico.  The van is moving now and the mercenary can see Kumiho on his bike coming from down the opposite direction.  He's surprised to see the decker throwing himself into the fray like this, most of them stayed well away from the action when they could.

Stepping to the corner, Calico points to the retreating black van. ~You may need to manifest to see it, but that black van contains your target, who is an ork~ she tells her spirit. Having dispatched her astral tracking, she turns and follows Cal toward the group's waiting car, hoping that Kumiho is successful in establishing a way to track it via the matrix, since there was no guarantee that any one method of tracking would be successful.

Kumiho speeds around the side of the building on his Black and Neon Nuclear green Suzuki Mirage. He knows that his deck, currently working as a jammer, pounding noise into the area, may have messed up the teams communications -  so he might not have back up or cover fire. However, he knows that the enemy is also effected by the noise pumped out by his deck. He hopes that the van is driven by a rigger who might be experiencing some difficulty getting the van going with the added noise. He know that this could only give him an extra second if that but he'll take whatever edge he can get.
He speeds up once the van is in sight, sending the mental commands need to his bike through his rig and down the fiberoptics. He pulls a small hand held tag shooter, no bigger than a Dillinger, for his coat pocket taking aim -  using his leg as a steady surface to fire from. He times it so that as he flies past the van he pulls the trigger right before passing the van's rear bumper. The bikes momentum plus the spring loaded tag shooter's velocity will tag the van's near the back -  hopefully out of sight.

With a slight tug on the trigger the spring inside the some mechanism releases, pushing before it the stealth tag. He remains calm, pretending to just be a mad man on a bike  with somewhere to be and not someone who is a danger to those inside the van.

Kumiho's tracker hits the side of the van with a satisfying 'THACK.'  He doesn't expect it'll withstand any level of scrutiny, soon as they sweep the van they'll see it.  They'd have to stop the van and get out for that, though, and until then it's location was a blazing beacon to Kumiho's eyes.  The spirit zips along after the van as well.  Calico won't know where it stops until the spirit gets back to report, but it feels better than just letting it go.

Adrenaline-primed hearts and the idle of Kumiho's bike are all that are heard for several moments, the street now unnaturally quiet.  The thud of a nearing helicopter begins to make it's presence known as well.

Tanya steps out of the cab to find Monique waiting.  As promised, she leaves a large tip with the driver and tells him that he is to take the other woman to the Gates Undersound Hotel.  She counters the slightly doubting look from the man with another hefty tip.  Walking to Monique, she kisses her cheeks then takes the gun.  "Merci, Cherie."    Tanya secretes the small dart pistol in her arm before climbing onto the Mirage and roaring off.  Checking her mapsofts, she sets a course for the team's location.  >>Team.  Tanya.  I am on my bike and can either meet you at your current location or can triangulate to intercept the target if you managed to tag it and can feed me the frequency code.

Kumiho turns his Jamming signal off to regain communication with the group.

I have a placed a tracer on the enemy vehicle and feel it is best we relocate before the Neighborhood Security team makes an appearance. He reports over comms. Kumiho also sends the tracers signal frequency code to his team.

Tanya receives the tracking code from Kumiho and slips into her mapsoft so she can track the van.  >>Team.  Tanya.  Thanks, Kuniho.  Got it and am tracking now.  So, are we meeting somewhere neutral or should I continue following the van?<<

Earlybird responds on the comms "I can try to keep track of things from the sky?"

"If he does that for now, I think it's best to learn what we can from those two guys that they just tried to frag.  I don't think they're going to stick around long after this.  time's ticking on both choices, it seems," Chance offered.  He looked to the others for a decision.

Tanya nods to herself after getting the message and inputs new directions to the gridguide, setting course for where the team is.  Still a distance away, she guns the bike to get there quicker.  >>Team.  Tanya.  On my way to your location.<<
