The mage is thoroughly pinned down.  While he seems well protected from bullets, there's not much place for him to go.

Then, he simply vanishes from sight.  Kachina notices that the aura of the man brightens, hard to tell as whatever spells he carried already lit him up, but she notices, even as her own spirit finally discoporates the spirit they are facing.

<<I've lost him!>> Vanguard reports.

Yet another spell and Kachina could feel her companions frustration, even though the spell had stay on the Amerindian... He could be blocking their view or some other illusion... It seemed they had chewed on something bigger than they should, but Kachina was not one to ever give up. She was hurt and knew getting back into her body was going to be excruciating...
The hard part about the Astral plane was how hard it was to communicate with the rest of the team. How could she help? Unless...

She turned to her spirit: Neutralize the Shaman as soon as he enters this plane, I fell he'll be after me big time.

As soon as she was done, she concentrated and her aura manifested where the shaman was now standing/crouching. Though intangible she was now visible by all her companion. That could be the cue they needed to "see" the Shaman.
Shoot at me now! you'll hit him! They needed a target, here she was.

Just as the mage is going invisible, Harry informs Forty that the requested job is finished, and leaves the statement hanging with that odd mental pull that means the spirit would still perform another service.

Without really thinking about it she snaps back the request "If you would be ever so kind, great beast, to help take down the magician that had summoned the spirit you were fighting, I would be ever so grateful."

And to do her part Forty unloads a quick burst of stick-n-shock at the image of Kachina, cackling "I thought you'd never ask!"

The rounds are stopped by something in mid air, Forty has to assume it's the mage.  Hard to see what the effect is.  Near the shape, Harry takes on a corporeal form, facing the misty projection near the Amerind mage.

There's a loud report coming from above, where Ravener has situated himself.  In the astral plane, Kachina can see the brightly lit for of the man fly back and hit the ground.
