...the only character that ever did that was my demolitionist, Leela back in the 3rd ed days. Though 18, she looked like a 12 - 13 year old (before Neoteny was a quality/flaw). She was a child soldier veteran of a resistance movement in her home nation in the Balkans which was occupied by a dictatorship. Leela was her cell's demolitions expert (inherited her penchant for explosives from her late father who was a pyrotechnician). When recovering from injuriesafter the initial invasion of her country, she did a lot of "chip study" which not only included demolitions but all the science knowledge that supported it like physics, electronics, structural dynamics, chemistry, & architecture. it got to where she could almost "read" a structure and know how to measure and where to place the charges for the best effect.
During her first meet with a new group, Mr J. looked at her and commented, "Who's the kid?"
Leela "I'm not a kid"
Mr J. 'Could have fooled me."
Leela: I'm no kid. I fought with my people's resistance in Balkan War for six years."
Mr J. "So tell me then what do you do?"
Leela. "I blow things up, make big bada boom. Buildings, bridges, comm towers, staff cars."
Mr J. "Really..."
Leela. [pulls out what looks like a cake of C6 out of her pocket that is wired with a both radio detonator and a deadman's switch, the "armed" light suddenly turns on without her doing anything] "yes beeeg bada boom, you wanna see?"
[one of his goons pulls up his gun and she smiles]
Leela: "Do that and Boom!" [slightly moves thumb on deadman's switch], "So, I go on job too now, OK?"
Mr J. [takes deep breath, nods, motions for his associate to holster his gun]
Leela, "Good, now we get to biz [turns team's to face], "OK your turn" [she puts her hand with the cake of plastic explosive in it back in her pocket then turns it off after they can't see it].
Leela had an implant available back then called a Transducer which allowed her to communicate through a transciever or other radio gear by just thinking what she wanted to say. She often used it to arm and detonate explosives with specific trigger words that were keyed into the radio detonators.
She was also the one I mentioned earlier who used the FN-AAL Gyrojet.
