bnc moves the drone a little closer, in case Woden only feinted. Then she quickly checks her overwatch score, knowing it must be a close call till GOD's wratch would deced upon her. If nothing else happens, bnc reboots her deck in AR mode and walks over to her victorious companions.

Slobbertooth wanted to enjoy this, but knew they didn't have time. The grenades and gunfire had surely awoken the neighbors.

"bnc, use your 1337 skillz to try and get access to his computer. I don't know how much time we have, and I'd like to avoid letting a mage wake back up." He chuckled as is reference to early aughts  internet lingo.

I'm going to go try a more low-tech approach." Slobbertooth kicked the PPSK away from the unconcious mage and then turned his attention to the other party in the room. He felt guilty about getting a third party involved in this, but she certainly wasn't innocent in Woden's killings. Josiah walked up to the decker elf, his revolver readied.

"Hello Frigg. Your boyfriend is going to die, but it's going to be a lot easier on Woden if we don't have to ask really nicely everything he knows about one of his contracts 11 years ago. I imagine that an assassin of his status would have some kind of documentation in that office of his. If you would be so kind as to give us access to all of that information, I'm sure he'd be really relieved.

At first Frigg tries to fake unconsciousness, but then a sob escapes her throat.
"Please. Don't kill him. I'll give you the info if you let us go. Please, he isn't a bad person, really."
Carefully she moved to her knees and looked at Slobbertooth with tear stained eyes and raised hands, a nasty bruise starting to color the left side of her face.
"Please, there were some jobs where we didn't have a choice."

"We didn't send any killers after you... I... I did spy on that meeting between you and the old police man - Captain Verres set us up to take care of it. He had an agent monitoring Wilcox' calls since some private detective accessed those files from 11 years ago.

He is the one who had me arrested twelve years ago. Since that time we had to work for him again and again. He was the one supplying the weapons and armors for those two thugs.
Please. If Sven hadn't done the job Verres would have come after me and our families.
Verres has connections - high up execs and other rich people who want to see someone dead give him a call. He is a wetwork fixer.

Slobbertooth laughed and sighed. "I have yet to meet a killer who doesn't say they have a heart of gold or forced to do their work, all while sitting in a home bought with blood. We all profit from what we do. You're no different. "

Ugh, revenge isn't supposed to be this morally complicated. You find the person who killed your parents, and you kill them. None of this "Eh, we were hired by this guy, and are forced to do out job against our will.

"Let me guess, the name of the client is Benjamin Thorin.

"Close. It was Eliza Thorin. She is the one managing the Thorin estate."

Slobbertooth patted her on the cheek. "Thank you for the correction, Frigg."

"Now if you would please give me the files to the contract you executed for Eliza Thorin, this will all be over shortly."

"I won't give you anything unless you let me and Sven go."
She even managed a bit of a defiant look although her voice shakes.
"Al that data is hidden away and encrypted. You won't get any proof without me."

Slobbertooth sighed. "You give me the information or Tigra dies, too."

"You... you monster." She looked at Torrent and her eyes went wide. "You! You are that elf from the club.
No. You can't do that. Tigra has nothing to do with this. Hell, she thinks I'm working as an accountant.

She looked around in total defeat. For a moment it looked like she wanted go for Slobbertooth's throat than she averted her eyes.
"I give you the link. Don't harm her. Bring me my commlink. It's lying on the floor in the living room."

Krestov managed to stop himself inches from Slobbertooth's chest, his hand in an open palm strike...a move he has known to deliver enough force to snap a human femur.    His eyes went wide as he realized what he was doing, recouping from it as the ork went to work on their quarry.

Pulling all the armaments into one area, the troll reentered the room wideeyed at Slobbertooth's threat.  Jaw setting, he nodded and moved to get the commlink, all the while speaking into comms.

"This not you, Slob.  That very cold.  Give them life or finish job without me.  I not accept this technique"  his expression was resolute as he silently reentered the room, gently reaching to lift Frigg up to a sitting position before placing the commlink in her hands.

Slobbertooth narrowed his eyes at Frigg. "Oh, does it hurt when you have your family threatened? I wouldn't know. You killed mine."

"I... I'm sorry. Really.
But killing Sven won't bring them back. Maybe... maybe we could give you restitution somehow. A weregild. We have money - you could have it. Or we could vanish, never to be seen again. Please, you can have anything we have, just let Sven live."

She took the commlink, but hesitated to activate it.

Slobbertooth voice rumbles out, years of pent up angry rushing out. "You stupid elf slot! Do you have any idea what you did to me? You took my parents from me! Then you did the kindness of hanging up my father's corpse in front of our home for me to see. If it weren't for the generosity of others," decending into his other native tongue as his anger increases "I would have died in the barrens either to starvation or assault from humanis punks if I was lucky. I lost my childhood, I lost my adoptive family, I lost everything because of what you did! (Orzet)

"I don't even need the info you have. You already told me who ordered the hit, who organized it for you, and I know where to find her. I'm allowing you to have a bargaining chip for your friend's life.
