I know in the Pirates! book in 3ed, there was a list of costs of goods and living based on area of the world. In Stolen Souls, it gives new lifestyle costs for Manhattan. What other resources are there?

In run faster the last few pages are all about average costs for things, short tables giving the costs of food, entertainment, clothes, housewares, tools, services and misc items. For example a pack of cigarettes if 5 yen, a cheap bicycle is 100 yen, a folding ladder is 25 yen a meter, an air conditioner for 1 room is 500 yen and the like.

Yes I love run faster. I more meant costs of lifestyles. For instance, does the cost of living increase in the Caribbean or decrease?

SR5 Denver sourcebook had price idex for each sector.
Made choosing where to live interesting.

Hasn't been a sourcebook since that had that kind of detail that I know of.

Which is a shame since things in Hong Kong and things in the bush lands of Africa can't logically cost the same.

I'll do some digging, but I seem to recall Hazard Pay and War! detailing warzone cost adjustments.

We know Manhattan is a high cost of living area, so let's see what they did to the usual life style costs.

Street: remains free, but can get you shipped of the island if you don't sleep on the right streets
Squatter: 1,500¥, 300% increase over 500¥. Also illegal and will get you shipped off the island if don't stay in the right area
Low: 6,000¥, 300% increase over 2,000¥
Middle: 14,000¥, 280% increase over 5,000¥
High: 25,000¥, 250% increase over 10,000¥
Luxury: 200,000¥ and up, at least 200% increase over 100,000¥

It should be relatively easy to extrapolate similar costs for other areas by simply adjusting the percentage increases depending on the affluence of the area, the population density, and how much of a corporate controlled enclave it is.

Yeah, I don't recall seeing the cost of living adjustment tables (in percent change from Seattle/Corebook prices) since around 3rd edition. It appeared as early as the Neo-A's Guide to North America, and is included again in both NAN books (didn't see it in the London Sourcebook, but wasn't thorough in the search).

....considering Portland became  the capital of the TT, hate to imagine what costs would be in 2075.

Crikey, rents today here are already ludicrous in RL. 15$ an hour would barely keep a single person's head above water let alone a family. On that wage, the median rent here for a 1 BR flat would be almost two thirds of one's gross monthly income.

Time to give my Fixer a call. ;-)

Yep, I did a bit of digging too and like Fizzygoo I couldn't find anything in 4th Edition on this. 3rd Edition has several official adjustments, but I think Sprawl Survival Guide sums it all up nicely:
Quote from: Page 133
Regional Differences
The prices given on the Lifestyle Costs Table (p. 128) are for Seattle, the standard setting for a Shadowrun campaign. To determine the lifestyle cost in other parts of the world, refer to the sourcebook(s) published for the country or region in question; many (but not all) of these include a table of the area’s costs of living relative to those in Seattle, from which the actual lifestyle cost can be determined. Simply multiply the lifestyle cost determined above by the appropriate percentage (either the entry for Cost of Living or for Lifestyle).
For example, page 103 of Target: Awakened Lands has such a table for Australia. It shows that the Cost of Living in Sydney is 150% that of Seattle, so a character with a lifestyle worth 21 points, pays 7,500¥ x 150% = 11,250¥ per month in a campaign set in Sydney. A character living the exact same lifestyle in Perth would only pay 7,500¥ x 90% = 6,750¥, though.
When no Costs of Living table is given in the sourcebook or no sourcebook is available for the area, the gamemaster should decide on the relative cost of living. As a guideline, keep in mind that big-city living is more expensive than life out in the sticks.

Also Chrome Flesh noted a markup on lifestyles and many typically used items for areas affected by wide-spread panic about CFD.
