skill levels cap positive DP modifiers.
Is that a rule specific to this game, because that's certainly not in the book. :-? I know that anything which increases a skill level directly (only few of these - namely reflex recorders and adept powers) can't surpass (natural skill/2). Linked modifiers don't have any limitation that I know of besides the old "max DP of 20 or (skill + attribute)x2, whichever is
higher" rule, which shouldn't be a problem with even my perception being under 20 dice with active looking bonuses.
And the amount of math on this character for the GM... Just scary.
I can crank out all the relevant dice pools for you if that's really what's bothering you with the guy.

Maybe, but not for long. And it wouldn't work well, as the character's Body, and Strength are abysmal. If anyone hacks his 'warez, he'd be crushed under their weight. ;P
He doesn't have a body anymore. "He" is essentially a pile of organs and a brain in a metal case. All he needs to do to avoid being hacked is to turn off wireless for his limbs and rely on DNI. Since his nervous system can't be hacked, he's golden. I even made sure to avoid Forbidden cyberware and have the enhancers as the only restricted cyber on him. Naked, of guns and armor he's perfectly legal going anywhere.
Hes got a DP of 7-13 to do most things and can tack on an extra 8 dice from Edge 8 times per run.
There's literally nothing he can't do! He is built to party!
Infiltration? 11 dice, +8 with edge.
Con? 9 dice, +8 with edge.
Shoot? 12 dice, +8 with edge.
He's a Mr. Lucky build! He'll play and play and play, I guarantee.

But if what you really want me to do is take the gags off and make him just a hardcore killing machine, I can do that for ya, quick and easy.
Drop Animal Husbandry and Outdoors Groups; crank Firearms group up to 4.
Drop Artisan and Athletics group; add one to perception and pick up dodge with a ranged spec.
Drop Cracking group and Lucky, taking Edge down to 7; Bring Influence, Stealth and Electronics groups up to 3 each?
