for those of you, that read some of my latest post, who know that I'm running a game.

My player are contract by Frosty and there Friendly Fixer (a recurrent character in my game) to find a map (or part of it). The last part will be in Lagos (don't know why but I loved it since the book about it in the 4th) and two of the other player in this Run are Saeder-Krupp and Evo (I'm not sure if they know what the map is or they are just intrigue to know why the players snatch their parts of it)

Anyway, when the players will have the last part SK and Evo will probably launch some of their nasties to bring the map's piece and some players for questionning. If I have (I think) a good idea for Evo, I have a pretty blank mind for Saeder-Krupp.

So for Evo I will probably drop on my player a Displaiser beast from DnD. Basically Evo, in is transhumanist way, "upgrade" a panther with tentacles, chamaleon cothing, another set of legs and (probably) a 360¤ view.

does anyone have an idea for SK ? don't say Dragon ...

African warlord backed by Lofwyr under the table with witch doctor support and spirits.  This is further backed up with a squad of hand picked trouble shooters in milspec gear.  This is then backed up with matrix overwatch.  They are in turn supervised by an initiate group.  All of which are monitored by spies both magical and mundane reporting directly to Lofwyr himself.  And any aspect can be replaced in 24 hours as needed.

If Lofwyr is really interested, a drake might be in order as well.
Would you want to go into a place where the resident had a drum-fed shotgun and can see in the dark?

So for Saeder-Krupp the consensus is pay a gang lord and throw it in the melee with some magical/support team on the payroll of Lowfyr

and if really interested a drake

Depends on the players.  And seriously, a displacer beast for Evo?  I thought the other parties wanted the map, not just to cause havoc.

Please explain, Ouroboros ? :P

a "Displacer Beast" the thing will have Chamaleon Cotting, so bearly visible. A Bio-Drone in a way

PS: Does anyone of you know where I can found the rules for building a drake, they don't seem to be in Run Faster

You have to go back to 4th ed Runner's Companion for Drakes as they didn't make the cut for 5th as yet.
Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

I think what wyrm is referring to is the fact that biodrones, while deadly, are NOT known for complex order operation.
So; "Kill them all" is an OK command.

"Kill, them all, and retrieve this map" is not. The Drone has no idea what a map is. (it's still as smart as the original animal)....

SO, if Evo wants the map, they are not likely to send something that would, oh, eat said map while making a snack out of the map holder.....
(More likely to send an Evo blacktops team, or another Runner team)
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???

Remember: You can't fix Stupid. But you can beat on it with a 2x4 until it smartens up! Or dies.

Ho I see ... yeah, Ok

but i'm searching interesting things to throw at my players. And I think that another "Special Force from ..." it's a little bit unimmaginative :P

Since I settle for a Covert team supporting a local gang for Saeder-Krupp

another Special Force from Evo seems a little dull

So anyway if you have good idea ...

Maybe have the gang that they're "supporting" split, at an inopportune moment? An internal schism that initially escapes their notice leads to one (or more) factions of the gang picking (or being picked for) unwinnable fights offscreen, or "throwing" a rumble with some other gang. "Wait, who am I shooting at, now?"

The opponents may not be exciting, but the decisions should be (bonus: less time statting, more time deviously plotting).
"Pick a fragging side, damn you." "I'm TRYING, but they're all moving targets!" "Use grenades, then..."

For S-K, I would have teams of well-trained SWAT dudes hounding your party.  Maybe they're even content to let the PCs actually do the heavy lifting when it comes to finding the map, then they send in their agents to ice them and capitalize on that information.

For Evo, for the style of game you seem to be running, the thing that comes to mind for me is a cyberzombie.  Evo doesn't officially make them, but they definitely have the ware for it, and it's suggested that Evo subsidaries create them via the Russian Government.  Just imagine - a big Russian killing machine chromed to the gills chasing the PCs all over the globe, and one who just keeps coming back.  I always prefer to use cyberzombies like this - something the PCs don't really have a shot at killing the first few times they run into it, but that they can escape by leaving it on the other side of a reinforced security door, dropping a building on it, whatever, until they've got some more karma and gear under their belt and they finally are able to stand their ground in a climactic encounter near the end of a campaign.

since the rules aren't out for the cyberzombie I will dial it down for now :P

for now Evo will launch a two guys special team : an Oni Sumo Wrestler Adept and a Minotaure Street Sama

for S-K I'll probably go for a European Drake supporting/watching local gang

I'm sad to say that I refuse to think something as disharmonious as an Oni would ever be accepted into a stable of the Sumo Association. Almost nothing is seen as more Japanese than sumo here (despite accepting foreigners these days). But with the SR universe's even more traditional tendencies I just don't see it happen.

I'm inclined to agree with PiXeL.  Remember back in the 2040s when that baseball superstar admitted he was an elf with clipped ears?  It was a huge scandal.  Just imagine how Glorious Nippon would buck at an Oni openly wrestling in one of their most treasured sports.  Don't all metahumans in Japan still get shipped off to some island of untouchables or something?  YAMATO DAMASHI!
