It probably won't change much on the roll, but there is an errata regarding that: it's Intimidation + Willpower [Social]" to resist intimidation.
Which means there is a limit. I don't really hope he has 6 or less but...

I don't think that Drakes need to activate their Dual Natured, it's one of the downside of the thing actually: it's always on.

Seriously? Nice, that change everything I thought about Drakes, the errata team should give the same treatment to Shapeshifters to make them viable again.

I don't see Transcend Form on your character sheet though. Did you just activate your dracoform in front of poor Todd?

And aren't your pools wrong? They should always be at Force x 2 in astral, how do you get a 14 to attack and 17s to defend?

Background Count imposes a -2 penalty to all Actions/Skill Tests for Astral Forms and Dual-Natured Creatures, not Defense and Initiative.  Talked to Gilga about the cumulative Defense Penalty and we concluded it doesn't apply on the Astral Plane.

But why the 17 in defence? Shouldn't it be 16? Not that it changes anything considering the rolls, but I'm curious.

Oh and while I do agree that in general one could argue the penalties don't count in normal astral combat, there's still the fact that in the current situation the Shedims are possessing people and your spirit is materialised. None of them then are free of their movements, it's basically the same thing as normal combat except for the skill and stats used. Consequently, I'd say the malaise should be applied here.

Astral Defense is Logic + Intuition.

F8 Fire Spirit has 8 Logic + 9 Intuition = 17 Astral Defense.

The Shedim couldn't do anything to the Fire Spirit on the physical plane and left their bodies to fight the spirit on the Astral.  It's extremely hard to say what bonuses/maluses apply on the Astral since actions there are defined by thought, will, creativity and force of personality.  The only thing that applies invariably is BGC.

Oops my bad, I never made a mage with a Fire spirit, forgot they had one mental stat higher than normal. And I missed the depossession thing. I should pay more attention, sorry ^^
