The astral perception reveal, that Falcone is surrounded with several people in his room. All of them are highly agitated.
I can hear them? Or at least discern those that I've already seen? I think so on both accounts...

On the latter surely - You are able to recognize Falcone, the feline aura must be Tabby's and you also recognize Hafiz. There is also one more person there. On the first however I don't think so, and I'd need a rulebook reference to rule other way.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

The magician’s senses while astrally projecting are the same as while astrally perceiving
Is that good enough? :P

Also:

It is also possible to eavesdrop on the noises, communications, and even smells of the physical world from the astral plane, but just like reading a physical book, the assensing character will perceive the emotional tone and impressions rather than the physical sensation.

JDA - sending the drone over the border is VERY risky - unless you spend the edge on that it will be shot down.

Ok, by my rule: there is a veil between the planes. Veil that can be pierced with astral perception or astral projection. However to make use of your physical plane sences while projecting the emotion level of the given stimulus must be equal or greater to 'shouting'. Ie you can eavesdrop a heated  argument but you can't a casual conversation. You can hear a silent 'I love you' while you can't hear the loudest 'and buy some carrots!!'

and by the above - the argument at the ranch is quite heated:
Jerome - 'Those goddamn fools will drive me crazy. You heard that ?!? they given them the professional curtesy!'
Hafiz said something
Tabby said something
unknown person said something
Jerome - 'No, there is still time, Tabby, you told me they are up to the job.'
Hafiz said something
Tabby said something
and further on the Jerome calmed down enough that you can't hear anything more.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Sorry for acting without consent, but we have to trust someone here. And as there are two contacts involved, and they seemed to calm down after deciding to trust us, I thought that course of action would be wise. Besides, that's also roleplaying. Stryker is a kid, but he's also a Mage, and that implies enough wisdom to tamper with reality itself - even if his attempts don't have the best outcome. Besides that, his Mentor Spirit is demanding of him to act wisely and honorable. So he did.

Erm, the meeting with Cats? None. They canceled. We have to unwind this from our side, and find the ransom note author. Or not. Depending on what the GM will write in response to Stryker's actions.

Sorry about throwing the burden of NPCing Eight-Stone on you, but we need the 'muscle' to flex at the moment. Which brings me to the question of if Bewilder is coming back and/or are we going to recruit muscle type (providing we're continueing on).

Wick does grab a tire wrench and places it under his jacket. He's not made for stuff outside of his van and drones.

We had a suspect - Hammerjack. He seemed to have a grudge with Mr. Belenkiy,

Hammerjacks grudge is against falcone
