Nomad stepped forward, clinking the ice in his glass a little. "I think I'll be able to put us in the reservation system. Shouldn't take more than a few days. The real problem is getting our gear onto the island. This job is gonna require weapons, vehicles, all sorts of things airport security will take offense to. We need a boat."

Silk: There is no code of honor for the corps. There is only the balance sheet and the bottom line, and this man could be worth hundreds of millions, maybe even billions of nuyen to his employers. Hell yeah they'll hunt us down if it means finding him.

Personally though I'd be more worried about the biodrones.Dinosaur brains are quite simple; they could be field testing some of the more... Carnivorous breeds already.

Honestly, Silk, that is exactly what Im afraid off. Now, do you imagine, that they are growing these creatures from the samples of DNA...well, many millions years old DNA. What Im afraid even more than big dinodrones, well, if those theories about the cycles of magic are right, and I believe they are...could it possibly happen that these reborned creatures should also have some Awakened powers?
I dont think that Midnight knows much more bout these dinodrones than we do, they didnt even manage to infiltrate this place with the spy. so I think that his info would be based on same statistic aproximations, so we should get no "facts" from him to this topic, and I would rather not build the plan on assumptions.
But..Ok...I rather ask him, just to be sure ;)

You mentioned cyberneticaly upgraded dinos before, mister Midnight. Do you happen to have more info on their progress and results of their research?

"25k Each and I'm just warning you guys. I have a pretty huge smuggling compartment. If we can get my two vehicles there everything else should fit in. Hell some of you might.

Also Silk I trust in your social fu, don't go telling people to put their ideas up themselves all the time, we relay them to you so you can drop it on the Johnson delicately. I'm a bit too blunt personally. Prepare for damage control."

After a little sip of his drink he added, "Also after pissing off the corp how much are you willing to do to protect us?"

PM @ Nomad: Oh. Fuck.

Well thanks Gaunt, that's very kind of you to say. And I do share your concerns. But then please also trust me when I ask you to do these things. I don't just want him to know that I'm the voice of your concerns, I want him to experience them himself. Brings the message of all of us thinking his offer is far from sufficient across a lot better. Straight and honest is a good thing in our profession, I have that from a good source... it's not really my thing, but you did it right and I think the message came across very clearly.
Back to the topic of us being hunted down by a triple-A: What are the chances of covering up our mission by making it seem like the target was killed, let's say in a freak accident, explosion in the lab... or as a snack.

We would be target just for the time we will carry the package.
After then, we are targets no more...corporations dont do revenge...it is simply ineffective. but, We still dont know who are we standing against, I want some answers!

We also need to consider collateral damage. If we cause a breakout that's global news. If it's traced back to us, we're international terrorists. Not exactly helpful if you wanna lay low.

Heh, hadn't even thought that far. Great! Mr. Johnson better come up with something good... A breakout or blowing up the place is the only way I see of delaying them for over a month...
But from what I gather so far, it seems like we're not taking the job as it's offered now? We will get up to a point where we have to say yes or say no.

Is saying no really even an option after what we've heard?

That delay is optional. Ive been thinking about that geothermal powerplant Making it stay inoperative for longer period. We dont need to blow things up.

About your answer, Silk, I would say YES for the job. We have balanced team and enought time to make preparations and recon. We would have to get some money up front (and maybe some restricted gear), that we know, and you are going to made him significantly increase the payment for the job, thats for sure. Maybe that advance payment we should get after we make some calculations, not blind shot. We should arange meeting with him after tomorow to discus this topic. We will be able to make some pre plan and we would have datasearch results.

No. He's not gonna wait. The deal goes down tonight or it goes to another team.

I'm in if you guys are. Talk him up as much as you can, and then seal the deal.

You take me wrong. Today we accept the work. Im definitely in. Tomorow or the day after tomorow we should send him our calculation of expenditure forecasts. We should shoot now, for, lets say 20K, but we would be limited by this sources and it would also limit our startegy. If we made up strategy first, then ask for advance payment to cover our expenditure forecasts, we should put some better ideas on the table.

The encrypted channel was "on fire" after hearing Mr. J.'s last words. The opinions, ideas, fears and ambitions of his roommates, forming a large brainstorming, went in quick succession into his ears through his discrete AR headphones.

Those industrial docks, chain production facilities, high profile research laboratories in the north... This doesn't seem just an amusement park.  Someone is putting a lot of money in there. And I don't think that investment is unprotected at all

@Channel -- Gentlemen, all those industrial spots in the north face... Leisure facilities in the south of the island seem to be both a way to redeem part of the investment as a perfect herring for other less "fun" activities. It looks like there was a whole fortune invested in there, and it's usual to protect investments. Depending on who is the rooster who rules the roost, we could be facing an entire corp army inside a mouse hole completely surrounded by water.
That scientist guy has no desire to leave his residence in the island paradise of treasure, as is clear from the smoking man words, and that doesn't improve our chances. It would be important to have some detail on how these people spend their lifetime when they aren't stuck between computers, datachips and test-tube dino babies. If they reside outside the industrial complex, if they move between home and workplace, if they have free time during which they move around the island... Something that allows us to get our hands on him in a discreet way, without a frontal assault and noisy fireworks over an industrial complex that will surely be protected like a nuclear silo.

Another thing that's worrying me: entering the island without attracting too much attention and bringing in the necessary equipment may seem difficult, but once we've done with the package, leaving that place will be something like semi-impossible, even after we have done it in the cleanest and surgical way.
Exiting legally could be an option, disguising our identities, but if the package is not shown collaborative, not be willing to dress as a clown for the party.
Exiting illegally seems a complete suicide to me; the smokink chubby just said that there is a well-equipped heliport on the island, do not rule out that these island guys are stocked with heavy military equipment, including helicopter gunships. That brings me to another question to mind: Where the hell is the island? If it's very far from the nearest continental land, and surely will be, we would have a huge amount of open water to navigate in our flight, and may not be much fun to do so under heavy enemy fire.

The whole thing sounded devilishly dangerous, enormous difficulty was foreshadowing in every word referring to that damned run. But that smoking J was already offering more than 15K per head... That would be enough to pay off his current debt with Vory...
..and that lady, Silk, sitting in front od the chubby, seems to be completely capable of getting some more juice from those fruit pieces...

@Channel -- Either way, it seems a very dangerous business, but also seems a worthwhile business, so I'm in, gentlemen
@Silk -- As for the money, try to do your best, lady. But it seems more important to me getting some intelligence info that might get our asses safe when things start getting really tough
