Cheyenne wearing nothing fancy? Yeah right! Even her pyjamas have a designer label!
Silk waited for Cheyenne to show up and spotted her immediately. She was turning a lot of heads in the place and was well aware of it, expecting nothing else. It still amazed Silk that a simple mundane human could have the effect she had on a crowd... it would have bothered her more than slightly if it'd been anyone else outmatching her own attractiveness in a place like this.
She sent an order for a martini 'asap!', sent a tip to the waitress for her quick service and after giving Cheyenne a welcome hug and kiss, offered the martini to her with a wide smile on her face.
"Tonight's on me, time for a celebration. Nice dress! The new Zoé?"
She tutted at Cheyenne's question. "Later, have to be careful what I say out loud. I got a job! Let me show you my new collegues!" They headed back towards where the group was just finishing their drinks and saying their goodbyes, dancing and watching through the crowd. "There's a scandinavian-looking mage too, he left already, didn't feel like staying here, can you imagine?" After watching for half a minute, their dancing takes them away from the group.
"The guy with the fancy AR is a technomancer! Kind of stepped on his toes too... Odd looking group, huh?"
As they dance, Silk tells her in great detail about how she handled the Johnson to get him from his 70k offer to potentially 200k and some help, visibly relieved that he still had his clothes on when the meeting was over. "Used some of the tips you gave me. Not bad for a rookie, don't you think?", she asks enthusiastically.
11:00 Silk's sent a PM to Nomad, the address an expensive hotel downtown Seattle. It's not where she lives. She doesn't distrust them, but that doesn't mean the trusts them enough to know where she lives. Takada waits in the hotel bar, sitting at a window watching the street, enjoying a real coffee while reading some AR articles on big game hunting.
