My notes are at home, but here's a really quick write-up for an ork rigger.

Czarnika (birth name: Ala Jae Choi), child of mercenaries, was born in 2040 -- shitty time to be metahuman, really.  Her mother got the hell out of their native Seattle after the Night of Rage and headed for  greener pastures. (Her father, also an ork, got hooked on BTLs and vanished, fate still unknown but most likely bones in a ditch somewhere.) They ended up in Africa, and little Ala spent her childhood bouncing around the continent, following outbreaks of violence. It was a pretty good life, all things considered. Africa in the 40s and 50s was a glorious place to be a mercenary, or a mercenary's kid: feel like urban combat? There's always warlords in the Kingdoms looking for hired thugs. Want a change of pace? Head over to Kilimanjaro and gank some spirits. The pay was good and the hours were reasonable. Czarnika had it lucky, by the standards of people who end up shadowrunners.

Despite the rough surroundings, Czarnika grew up with what were at the time top-of-the-line modern cyberdecks, courtesy of the company riggers, who were just coming into their own. It was clear pretty early on that someone Czarnika's size was never going to be much use in front-lines combat, but she took to mechanics like a duck to water, and by the time she hit puberty she could service a hovertank like a pro. She tried the merc life for a few years as an adult, but seeing her mother's company get torn to bits by a ghoul pack in '59 took some of the fun out of it. (Unusually for a Seattleite, Czarnika almost nothing about the Arcology shutdown when it was happening, as she was on the other side of the planet at the time.) She lived through the year of the comet and Crash 2.0, but things were... different, afterwards. She got by on the down-low until the Emergence went public, and then decided it was time to get out of the shadows until things calmed down. She set up shop in Auburn, doing mechanics work for the local go-gangs and renting out her gear. It was fine for a few years, but she's getting bored and restless, taking stupid risks just so she can feel involved again.

Good? Not good? I can certainly make changes.
Edit: a lot of things. We've got all this karma, so I thought I'd try my hand at a technomancer for once. If you don't like them in your games, and not everyone does, I can change it back.

I think I'll throw my hat in here for a seat at the digital table, as long as there are no objections. I have class soon, but when I get home tonight I will see what I can come up with.

I have no problem with TMs, it would be welcome to exploit this area in the game.
So what we got so far:
A4BG: Adept, blades specialist
Kour: Ninja/Face
Farothel: BE/Face
Twitch: Technodriver
Bookworm: dataworm???
Nathen: Doctor

If you don't mind fielding someone who's never played a matrix character before, I would be more than happy to take that up that hat.

I've got a rigger/hacker in the works, but if you want to play one as well, go for it :3 Competition is a thing. Or I guess I could focus more on drones, if you want to cover Matrix stuff.

Alias: Mask

Mask is Maria Skyborn

Living in the house of the UCAS Urban Brawl National teams couch, her father. The life in the family was Boring, Combat was Fun,and if your father is one of the best trainers for Urban Brawl, there are really not many options in your life.Maria had spent all her childhood in boot camps and around doing nothing more then exercises, and when she was eligible she was invited to join them too. And to her surprise the young Maria fell in Love with combat, not as much as Urban Brawl, but combat itself. For a few years Urban Brawl Was all her life, she competed in her team Auburn Ramblers in the Local and National Level, and last year she was even invited to the National team for the World Cup. Of course she has a lot of media coverage and is in the spotlight on the street, not only in Auburn, where she is a hero, but also in whole UCAS.
Even though she had a lot of fame, she did not like the attention she was getting as often her impulsiveness had made her look bad in the press, once after picking a fight in the street with a gang, she did not want to come out of her room for 2 weeks. in this period her strongest wish was to look different change, be some one else, and to her surprise, she could do that. she had found her magic. now she could be a star for a day, but the rest of the time she could run away from all the attention.

Lately the thrill from being in Urban Brawl is not as thrilling as it used to be, so Maria has decided to seek it elsewhere - The Shadows.

Master of 1000 Faces + reflexes 3 + few more options

Concept: Imitator, with combat and infiltrator skill leading a double life.

Hope i can juggle all this in game .

Yeah man I was planning on doing more of a matrix oriented character and then have rigging be a secondary thing, if we both get into the game we could play off each other, or if only one of us makes it then one of us could just switch it up a bit to fill both roles.

Just a quick question, is Karma character generation supposed to give free knowledge skills like BP character generation, or is chummer just wonky about Karma character generation?

I think I have put together a workable back-story that I can turn into a pretty cool character.

Jack T. Rades (Born  Hilderich Eberhardt ) was born to an upper middle class family and into the Saeder-Krupp family in 2045 Germany. Both Hilderich's father and mother were independently successful business people and being successful business people they entered into a marriage/breeding contract to make sure that their success would live on into the next generation. Wanting only the best for their child they insisted on getting the latest and greatest new innovations in genetech, to make sure their son would be head and shoulders above the rest of the children (which amusingly was the only joke he ever heard from his dwarf father.)

Being the upstanding corporate workers they were the wasted no time in making sure that Hilderich was provided with any and everything a growing child would need, namely nannies, tutors, caretakers, and anyone who could enhance their child while they pursued their work...
Hilderich grew up, and grew up smart, straight A's, president of the chess club, student ambassador, the works, and then he went off to college. It was here he learned of his love of the matrix, and everything it had to offer. A couple months into his sophomore year of his business, engineering, computer science major, at MIT:T Hilderich snapped, got every credit he could manage from where his parents stashed them, and disappeared, never to look back.

A few months later, and much soul searching later, Jack T. Rades (and his new matrix handle Factotum), and a variety of different alias(s) turned up in Auburn Seattle. Using some of the last of abused credits he picked up a shitty apartment and started looking for any job to pay the bills. A few years, some bumps, bruises, debt, and jobs of questionable legality later he finds himself turning to the shadows in an attempt to scratch an intellectual itch to prove himself, an itch he had not felt since his burnout in college.

Hope i can juggle all this in game .

Then there's going to be some overlap (not necessary a bad thing, makes some stuff easier) as my character is an infiltrator who uses impersonation if possible (change appearance to that of a secretary, swipe her entry card et voila, simply walk in), break-in if not.  I'll probably be a bit less skilled in combat, and I can astrally percieve.  So I'm more a primary face in some ways than B&E (I don't have B&E adept powers).

They are way to similar at the moment :S I am primary imitator but for a imitator Con is very important.

except mine is a Urban Brawl Outrider

:))

Kinda like this pic, could change from Maria to Mark

Sounds good. Is Auburn a Low or Middle neighborhood? It's not listed specifically.
