Riker - spells
A little rules clarification first.
When you give your initiative you make a roll of number of dices equal to your initative and add that to your initiative. In your case this is 6 + 6d6.hits(5). I've rolled for you hence you have initiative of 7 for this combat turn.
When you add edge to your rolls you add number of dices equal to you edge characteristic. This is 3 in your case. You've resisted entire drain anyway so there is no problem with that.
Now your phantasm is an illusion spell, so the ganger has a chance to resist it with Intuition (you spellcasting test hits - 4 in this case)
4d6.hits(5)=0 failure
Ganger was prepared for any kind of technical measures, but magickal security is a convincig one.
