along the rolling init - any suggestions on what Cursor should be doing?

Crashing node goes nicely, probably in two phases it should be over (one with luck), but leaving three hackers and five IC to make unrestricted damage, can turn ugly.

Hopefully Sam can take out the hackers from the meat side. But then there is problem with panic lines. When hackers start disappearing without notice, the remaining one will understand this is a coordinated strike and will press the button.

The solution is to crash the console program. But that need to win Hacking + Exploit opposed to 14 dices of System + Firewall + alert. With luck/edge thats doable but will delay crash of the node (another set of IC/hackers attacks).

Ideas?

I hope I can use this toget out of the node when it crashes to avoid dumpshock. Hackers should be unable to do so when the node crashes, so + physical damage made by Blackhammer they would suffer Dumpshock and that should slow down them a bit. If there is no escape, I should stay with them to keep them in the node with Black Hammer, And then Ill go to Dumpshock with them. I know consequences of such step.

About delayed actions: It is not delayed pass. IMHO you may use free+delay complex, use free and single and delay single etc.  :P

as for the Warning problem, i could just delay my action and just reload and than attack my plan was to see if they are VR both of them, thus far I am not sure they are. no confirmation so if they are, then most likely they will be oblivions to my presence there so i can edge shoot both of them the same turn,
right?

I know I turned my Radar of last turn, but might you tell me if Sam ever seen on of the persons in the sec center waling around? and aht ware did they have so we know what to expect.

We are in big problems right now, if we get out of them without an alarm i will be suprised, worst case you leave me inside and i plant the last Bomb to destroy the Machinery for good. as I am practically invisible for the eye and adapt to sneaking I could get past them and the badge is a good door opener. might even get out unspotted, but the door thing will get me if I am not fast, they will know witch part I enter as maglock are used for tracking as well.

Seeing how things are going now I guess it should have been better if he stayed in the node, spoofing the erektor sets to attack the hackers and helping to delete the node, but I made a bad choice, since Fractal is really not very useful for Matrix Combat...

Well, let's see how he reacts on the meat (and then, if the dobbermans are close to the hackers, maybe there's another way to turn their "press the red button" action a little more difficult.

I've reread the rules on that. Seems I've been wrong. You in fact delay an action but you can only act once, so you can delay your act (and by act I understand free+complex or free+simple+simple) in any given initiative pass or to act first on the next one. You cannot split your simples or separate free from complex. you cannot act twice in a given initiative pass (once because you delayed and once normally for example).

actually he cannot - since the node is on alert, all priviledges related to his access_id are withdrawn. he CAN hack+exploit (on security priviledges) for disabling system alert on himself or to add resident hackers to the intruder lists.

one guard (smartlink + radio) on the opposite side of the building (diagonally)
the sec center room (the one containing actual console, plus transmitter and backup generator) have two guards. One (smartlink+radio) is sitting to the left and one (datajack + commlink) is laying to the right.

Aneswering you possible question - are there any other hacker types (datajack + commlinks) there are none, however,  from the description you got from Erik, there should be at least two more people in the secure computer center (building D), they are beyond radar range, but since they have to be within the facility to operate the node, it is the only possible choice - Riker probably could scan their presence easily.
