<<How's this for a plan.  Romy brings the Hyundai around back to extract the target.  Everybody takes up a position and waits for Silk to try her play.  It either works or doesn't, but, if it sours, I'll gas the front room, I/O cuts the power, Stills puts a big spirit on one of the groups, Romy watches the door guards to see how they jump and someone KOs the target.  Package goes out the back in 15 seconds, meanwhile I finish off the rest and collect their heads in a bag.  All of us are gone a minute and a half before any authorities could arrive.  Silk, Noise, you see any gas defense on this front room crew?  Anybody want to throw some invisibility around?>>

Survivors in the freezers? Oh please tell me no one feels compelled to save them. Not what we're being paid for, not my problem. Ignore it Silk.

Silk smiled at Little Joe walking past her. "Good luck, Joe.". Don't think I'll be seeing you again.
She didn't wait for a reaction and rushed towards the eastern hallway.
Walking up to Hank, she started asking if he was coming with them when she noticed the confused look on his face. Wh..? Shit, still talking Russian. Sorry Joe.
She repeat her question in English. "You coming with us to grab the package?"

Subvocal: "Didn't see any masks or respirators when we were in there. Doesn't mean there aren't any, these guys are expecting to ambush runners after all."

She checked her weapons. Her Savalette still had 15 shots of Ex-Ex in it, the small Morrisey Elan reported 7 capsule rounds -filled with Narcoject- loaded, a taser hung on her belt.

Subvocal: "As for the package: We take his bodyguards down, take him down with non-lethal and leave. Not going to risk talking to him, what would I say? 'We've got a sniper and a hitter, tell your small army to surrender!' Maybe he'll fall over laughing, but I'm not so good at slapstick."

"So, if we get into trouble, withdraw back to the hallway and see what the mage can send as backup? Think I should ask them to open the door too? Knock on the door and 'Sir, there's a problem with Carl, sir.'" The last sentence was spoken with the voice of the guard she just killed with a shot through the heart.

"YA budu pozhiratʹ ih dushi," Joe responds in Russian as she waits, sitting on the case of beer.

<<The gas is not visible.  If they are not already on internal air, it will be too late for them.>>

I/O starts to clear his data trail out of the access logs, prepping for the final stages of the run. On the others mark he will cut the lighiting in the room. and when they enter he will send in the drone as well. To hopefully finally get a stronger signal.

<com channel=team> I am ready to cut the lights on your signal. if you can find the man with the Jammer and turn it off while you are in there it would be helpful. I am staying in the storage closet and going full VR to give myself a bit of an edge. If you wouldn't mind giving me a heads up when you have the target so I may exit with you it would be appreciated.

With that I/O slumps down in a corner where he would not be seen from the door and slips back into the comportable silence of his digital retreat and the static confines of the clubs node.

Yea, of course Darlin', lemme juste put my gloves on.

Hank put back his Hardliner gloves on, and makes a final checkup on his gear. Then he nods to Silk to show he's ready.

What up with Joe, he's making the diversion ? Anyway, just give me a second or two before we get in the VIP room, I got last minute preparation to do.

Hank move up to VIP room and close his eyes. Sharpening his reflexes, he's getting ready to enter the room

Subvocal: "Waters, how confident are you that you can control the package's actions when it gets out of the ward? And how fast can you do it? Or do you think you've got a better chance to cover us while we drag him out? And this ward, will if give an alarm to them when we cross it or is it just a magical thing?"

Slipping back into the comfort of VR I/O double checks his control over the lights, by making sure they are controled by sec access, in the main room.

checking for hidden icons
checking that the analyze is still offline
checking the status of the two pieces of IC

subvoc - "I can track him but not control him. One of my spirit allies would be able to control or subdue him, or tear people apart, but not both at once."

Slipping into his Sight to give the team a once-over, the shaman furrows his brow. Stay here, he commands to the watchers and warns the ancestor spirit. He then drops his perceptions back to the mundane world to focus on the upcoming action.

subvoc - "Anything astral will alert the ward's creator if it tries to pass through. I will need to kill my tracking spell before entering, and Hank will need to deactivate his focus. My ancestor cannot cross the ward, but I have another ally who should help us once I cross to the other side."

Hopefully, he thinks to himself. The spirits of Seattle are new to him, but hopefully his reputation has spread far enough in the Spirit Realms to reach them.

checking the access for lights - You have them, except stage lighting.
checking for hidden icons - none
checking that the analyze is still offline - yup
checking the status of the two pieces of IC - patrolling but still oblivious that you aren't authorised

Noise looks to Silk, "Could try call out, but we not where they should be right now. May just give us away. I think surprise is best option at this point."

Noise checks the ammo in her machine pistol again, wishing she'd brought something bigger. Comm: I vote for speed insertion and retrieval.

She cracks a quick smile to Silk, "Remind me to bring more firepower next time we go clubbing?"

Never been really good with Wards and stuff, does that mean I should wait for "Last minute preparation" until I'm in the room ?

Hank get ready, he steady his feet ready to rush in. With a quick smile he says to Silk and Noise

"Always the ladies man when lead start flying, no?" Noise replies to Hank.

She considers the DJ's light's still flashing in the middle of the firefight and the bonus to style points that would give, but, of course there are no style points to be given out (especially to the dead).  Comm: I'm good either way. Got thermal for full dark, flare compensation if you can't get DJ lights.  Though I'd not expect full dark, emergency lights might kick in.

The stage lighting seems completely out of this nodes control

"More firepower than 20 men with submachine guns?", Silk laughed, then shrugged."Sure, I can probably talk that past the bouncers too."

She put her Savalette Guardian in its holster and held the Morrissey Élan ready in her hand. A mental command turned on thermal vision as primary vision enhancement. She preferred ultrasound in total darkness, but to anyone with a sensor set to passive that would have the same effect as shouting "Here I am!" and waving a flourecent orange flag.
"Yeah, I'm quite sure 'ladies first' isn't really gentlemen-like when starting a fight."

"Might be best to wait with killing the lights until we know for sure they're aware of us. If they don't immediately notice our attack, killing the lights might tip them off. They might miss a grenade rolling into the room with all that music and flashing light. I've got thermal and ultrasound, but I'm one of those girls who's better with the lights on. If you cut the lights though, try cutting them all."
Unless the little girl needs a nightlight.
