I see that most of you were on today at some point. Are we losing interest already? Not liking my posting style? If so let me know since this is my first PbP game.

Red, I hate to be the bearer of bad news... but you didn't buy Scan! So you can't scan for a hidden node, sorry. However, since your character would have it, you can go ahead and add it to your char sheet and subtract the cost from your starting cash. Any others I'd have to say buy them later.

Yea, you summoned the watcher with 3 hours and no drain. I'll let you describe the watcher how you want based off the description of the Wuxing tradition in SM, unless you want me to do it.

heh, I'll let it slide, however, keep in mind that Watchers are pretty dumb and I will make the watcher do whatever you say very literally. For example, if you say "report to me living creatures and astral activity" you will learn about the fish/rat/roach population very quickly.

Eh, I figured being being overly specific wouldn't work.  What would the literal version be, though?  A list of "a zillion ants, forty fish, five metahumans, and a hellhound" sort of thing would be a useful start.

Red, does the subtract the cost of Scan from your starting cash and just adding it to your character sheet sound ok? Scan 3 or 2?

@Redwulfe: Ok, I went with you having Scan 3 which caps your successes per attempt to 3 and in an effort to move things along, I rolled for you for the rest of the rolls. If you have any objections you are welcome to roll yourself and use those results instead.
Rolling for Yurei's scan for hidden node attempt. It's an extended test 15 w/ 1 combat turn interval. He's already got 5 successes from his rolls. (5d6.hits(5)=1, 5d6.hits(5)=2, 5d6.hits(5)=4, 5d6.hits(5)=1, 5d6.hits(5)=3, 5d6.hits(5)=2, 5d6.hits(5)=0, 5d6.hits(5)=1, 5d6.hits(5)=2)
It took 5 more tries after the 2 you made to get the 15 needed. So it took around 21 seconds to complete the test. Your character detected two hidden nodes in the same locations that Chains' watcher detected the two people.
