You wouldn’t expect something this nice and tidy from a hacker, but then again he is a high profile mafia member and can afford that. The keys allowed you to pass through gates and doorman easily. There was nothing to stop you form entering the apartment itself. Inside against your expectation you found no uber-geek toys lying around or computer game magazines.

It’s a very contemporary place. Nothing seems to be in disarray. The bedroom and bathroom has “His & Her” stuff.

Mouse and Omar quickly found the apartment node and tried to access his personal computer. It seems that the key you carried had and RFID implanted and the internal function allowed you to use user account without the need to hack your way into.

Dean's computer systems specs: Firewall: 5, Response: 5, Signal: 4, System: 5 - all pretty solid. It is running the home-manager Agent which introduced himself as Dennis.

Accessing the computer is a little odd - the whole apartment is a node. He’s even put motors and RFIDs on the non-tech devices. Chairs in the office can pilot themselves into the living room on request. The living room furniture also can move to accommodate the influx of chairs. Dean’s drinking glasses and coasters have matching tags and the corresponding coaster can scoot itself around to “catch” its glass as it is being set down. System is driven by the Agent that tries to accommodate you're presence. You're tagged as 'welcomed guests' and thus your PANs received an AR options to prepare a drink (tea, coffee or liquor) a meal or bath, call a chair to your location. Agent autonomously initiated cleaning of the carpet after your entrance, as you have brought some mud on your boots.

From where did you make the purchases? And under what Access/Device Id? Those transactions would be date and timestamped, if not hacked, and can be traced to his house or anywhere that is not at the scene of the crime. If Dean questions, I will explain his reason for asking.

You also said that her comlink was taken (since KE asked you where it was) and that you have worked on it. Do you remember what her access/comlink id his? It may yet still be possible to trace it.

As Sam is of no use in the Matrix business he starts looking around for a place that might be suitable for a stakeout, noting stuff that seem out of place as well. Sam noticed that the main entrance was guarded so he has a eye out for any other means of getting out of the apartment block, or the KE has a real problem pining it on Dean.

Mouse...i have to admit that for datasearches I wont be of any use  for you. Ill go for this detective, and Ill let you know if I find anything. I think Ill take a VR nap in that nice bedroom there, please, just have a look at me from time to time if my trace is not too hot. For the beginning...this is that detective`s AccessID, you can find it usefull...but don`t compromise it too soon, Ill need him online for a while. I also have a list of dvices in surroundings, most of them standard issue but there may be some specialities and unknown devices...if they get an electronical surveillance on Dean they may have left some traces...
Ryker...such things...like beating someone to death, may left some traces over the scene, aren`t they? The more we will know on our own, the more we should compare to what detective say to us when we finally call him, and based on that comparation we should be able to determine if there is something he tries to hide. Maybe its useless, but I have this feeling...

Just as soon as Omar issued an order for coffee, something in the node had happened, fortunately both of you had a close look on the matrix activity. To the VR perception of the Mouse and Omar it has looked at first as copy of the coffemaker node, but piercing through it's masking it appeared to be a construct shaped like a squirrel with a nut in his teeths. It has bolted from behind the coffemaker node and of from the node.

You got it's look close enough to know it's an autonomous program (agent).

The building has wards around it's walls. As soon as you have your watcher spirit summoned a figure appeared in Astral space of Dean's apartment. For the safety of all living in this building no magic activities are allowed withing the wards boundaries. Please dispell you spirit and cease any further activities. You may perform your magic in the park outside the building. The watcher (looking like a smokey dog) watches you with a large eyes.
