The potent spell that Ryker put on them proven to hold. The hunting group had split. Half of them setup near the lower entrance. Second half led by the troll rushed upward. Sam helped Ryker to slip to the balcony and hung over the railing allowing the triad soldiers to pass them by. Later on Ryker returned to the balcony, when Sam dropped down and tumbled, making a little noise. That was sufficient for his fellow mage to slip past them. and into the crowd.

You hadn't had a shot so long, that you cannot resist to wander around. The pleasure streaming directly is an undeniable experience, and you just can't see a reason not to have some especially since Sam and Ryker are safely out, and Omar has an attack program you sent him. Unca proved to be quite capable for a hacker, no need to worry about him ...

Until the end of the trip (usually few hours) Mouse is out.

You can try to turn off the program using the AR (but that will probably require hacking security account or higher) or by physical consoles on the commlink (no hack necessary)

Now, he took a look around to see Mouse's eyes still closed. The boy's face beamed with pleasure, but otherwise he is nonresponsive.

Happiness is only smile away.

Once safely outside the mall Sam and Riker started discussing where to go on further. You took a look at the commlink glasses you've carried away. There is a hotsim module, and you can see it is activated as well as skinlink serving for identification purposes. The inside overlays presented you the same scene, that Mouse is seeing from the inside. Though you don't see his icon present there.

The world through this program is all bright and cheerful, that you can’t help to smile. What BTL addict wouldn’t be happy here? You could close your eyes and mellow out to the background music as you move around the town. With that you realize another subtly of the program as you notice that the music is coming from a fixed point in the city. Facing in that direction, you see that even the meanderings of the birds and butterflies flow in that general direction. If you face other, the world darkens a bit, and stormclouds appear, the longer you move in the undesired directions, the more threatening the environment become. As soon as you change back everything returns to the pleasantries and happiness.

Unknowingly to Sam and Riker everything is reflected in the face of Mouse as observed by Omar whose mood darkens and brightens without a reason.
