back on the physical plane of the world in the red wire office someone raised a thin glowing magic wall along the entire wall on the lower level.

It is a physical barrier to answer Omar's question.
Physical Barrier (Environmental, Area)
Barrier spells create glowing, translucent force-fields... (pg.211)


I thought it is on both levels, based on the above it is ONLY at the lower level. Which mean you're free to go out cloaked by your invisibility spells. There is only one person that can spot you and you must pass by him on your way out. I'll find the counterspelling rules in a moment.

Does Sam see this person is (s)he on our way out so he might try to take him/her out just in case? on the way in it would only bring problems, on the way out it would not only lover the chance to be seen, but also be a distraction as most would think that the culprit might still be in the shop.

By peeking through the doors you could see them going toward the stairs to the balcony. There is a troll, two orcs and four humans - all males. Armed, and mounting silencers on their guns.

Is the old infiltration rolls and concealment still in effect?
if so Sam could easily slip past them and make some distractions downstairs so Ryker could flee more easily, and not to forget the Elemental attack of the elemental,blowing them of the stairs would be hilarious, if not silent.

Counterspelling / invisibility / infiltration rules. This is mostly Ryker's knowledge. for Sam he is just plain invisible.

at first an incoming magician
he will have two intuition + counterspelling roll against target of 6 (for ryker) and (4 for Sam) (Ryker's own roll would be 4 dices against this targets which is pretty nonexistant)
in case he fail (which is probable given the number of hits JDA got on the rolls)
he will in addition have an Intuition + Magic (3) Test to notice that the invisibility spell is being used without revealing the source or breaking it  (counterpelling as a static defense). (Ryker's roll would be 8 dices on that to roll 3 hits)

on top of that the invisibility doesn't protect you from astral perception. But you got that covered with a cloaking service of the spirit.
magician will have an astral perception roll but reduced by 5 dices due to the concealment. There is low chance for that but if he is anything average or better it can be risky. (Ryker's own roll would be Intuition(3) + Assensing (2) -5 (concealment) -> 0 dices.

failing that we will have almost standard perception as infiltration test opposite group test

counterspelling gives them additional dices to the perception test, he is actively looking and they are going in large group, which make passing by them fairly difficult, even though they cannot see you. Since they can just bounce on you.

unless you do something else (got that one minute to prepare/observe anything else) please make individual infiltration tests (or a teamwork test as you prefer - I think that Ryker has better chances if led by Sam)
you got invisibility on top of your infiltration skill +6 (there is no benefit of the disguise suit though, invisibility override that)
if you go as team, you need to score one net hit to pass. if you go individual you need to at least match their roll.

against their teamwork perception test
they are in large group +5
they are actively looking +3
they have sound/visual enhancements +2 in total
they have counterspelling +x

Secondly we do not need to use the stairs, Sam can easily jump over the side of the balcony, even if making noise that would only help his agenda.

just seeing from real life point of view, this is a bit riskier for Sam, but that would leave Ryker much more time and space to get down, and going trough a group of 5 is borderline insane as a infiltrator + baggage.

Ok on more question while we wait for JDA, will making noise and smashing into things require me making a lot of infiltration rolls after any of the events that give my position away or will it only inquire a penalty/advantage dice? how would that work?

lover level has the barrier, but that is not bad at all as the mage would feel the attack on it and might think someone is trying to get out there.
still counter-productive with Sam's plan as it would bring the attention back to the Red wire.

any type of action will direct one guard toward you: "what was that, go check it out"
I'll make it a trade off - make a Con roll, each hit you score will remove one guard from the Riker's way and move him towards you. (someone is running there. All right take Chun and Nogh and check this out),  You can boost your con roll with additional dices, each will make a -1 modifer to your infiltration roll.

example:
you make a con roll with + 5 modifer
you need to make a new infiltration roll with -5 modifier

if you don't make any modifiers to your con roll, the current infiltration roll stays.

depending on the number of hit's you score, (let say you got 4 hits) five out of  seven will search for you, making a path for Riker much easier, and much more riskier for you.

This are not separate buildings - this is a shopping gallery around a temple (single building, with shops having two floors each).
Other than that both are possible - you can turn on the alarm.
Using the shop's carts is possible but a little more complicated - they are under shop security priviledge, not master node. You'd need to hack yourself security account there (fairly easy since it has no analyze, but still an action to perform).
