Same as previously to enter the node from the master node a simple logon will give you security priviledges. No need to hack unless you want to use shop facilities. I am assuming so.

I thought I had created a security account for Omar in the Red Wire shop. I sent it along with the hacking download. Assuming the spiders didn't find it and disable it.

Sensing the derezzing of my fail sprite, I am assuming that the spiders are probably still going to be there fishing for whomever is responsible and see what they got into--not sure if logging back in would start the clock ticking all over again or if it will continue to where it last left off.

Since Sam and Ryker are on the move and have the com link, I know I will probably not want to be in the com link in case it looses connection to the matrix. What kind of check do I need to make to know if there are any dead zones between here and the mall?

Depending what my logic+willpower-1 roll was for, might determine (or have determined for me) my next action.

this is actually simple to find, simple to transfer and free to swap to AR
anyway keep in mind that

Transfer Data (System)
You transfer a file or set of files from one node to another. Most transfers
last until the end of the current Combat Turn; the connection
speeds of the Matrix are fast enough that only files of truly epic size
take longer than normal.

transfer will end should end at the end of combat turn. this isn't large file however, so I'll rule it will transfer by the end of the initiative pass.
You need to last until the end of the pass to get the file.

other than that I think that destroying your AR subscription has no effect on you, other than the necessity of reloading the persona on the commlink.

Ah ...Ive read that yesterday and I t remember wrong that Transfer file is Complex action... otherwise Im still able to defend, no need for actions to do that. CT is over for me because by switching to AR i lost VR hotsim bonus +2 IP

ok, make the defense and damage resistance rolls.
attack value is 5 as you might have noted
keep in mind modifiers for continous dodging (cumulative -1 for each consecutive, successful dodge) and wound modifiers if applied
you might make single full defence (adding hacking to your defense roll)
and Edge as you please.
