Wagner nodded, satisfied with the result he'd gotten from the door. If he had to be completely honest he'd only messed with it because he really wasn't looking forward to going in the shaft again. Climbing up had been a hell to him and he'd had plenty of time and assistance then.
Going down as quickly as possible while running from security? His odds of being the first one down were fairly good.
Unfortunately the chances of surviving that fall weren't.

Wagner took a grenade from Karina and put it in the center of the room in plain sight. Lena, the last drone on his body, hid itself at the edge of the shaft so it could tell them when security had broken through. The small drone was nearly invisible with its minute size and chameleon coating.
"You can help tie me to my girls? Maybe they help and I don't slow you down."
He tied himself to the drones as good as he could and ordered them to start the descent, walking backwards so their guns aimed at the room.
Sylvia, the dragonfly drone zoomed upwards past them and stuck itself 5 meters above their position. If things went really bad it would be their last line of defense.

[OOC: Castle is down I think. Rolled on dicelog.com/dice, if you don't trust the roll (it's pretty damned good!) I'll roll on castle later. Ignore the ">= 5" thing, thought I'd tried to see if it calculated hits but I guess not.
Str 3 + Logic 5 + 'ware: Result of the throw of dice "10d6 >= 5" : 6 + 2 + 6 + 2 + 6 + 6 + 4 + 6 + 6 + 3 = 47 ... success.
So 6 hits, 5 if the extra 2 dice don't count. (It's a bonus logic-related skill tests, not to logic itself)

As Wagner's drones begin to decend the shaft brick backs into the opening, pulls a smoke grenade from his vest and pulls the pin, and drops it to the floor. He then reaches down and takes a firm hold of the rope and begins to slide down. #1 first IP #2 second IP (7d6.hits(5)=3, 7d6.hits(5)=2)

Brick is the last one to enter the shaft and before his head goes down the access vent on your descent you hear a some kind of hatch on the other side of the doorway open up and something going to work on the lock and you know you don't have much time before whatever it is that's on the other side of that door gets through.  Hopefully Wagner bought the team some time to cover some distance down that insane shaft!

As you all descend Zach finds beam which is close to the far wall of the shaft and about 15m down from the shaft entrance and he posts up there readying himself with his HK aimed straight up above which is clouded in smoke form the smoke grenade Brick let loose. 

[OOC:  I'll give you 1 Scan action.  We'll use Wagner's hits as a bonus to the threshold for opening it.   Just gonna do several rolls see how long you have. Maintenance drone's work on lock: Pilot 3 + Hardware Autosoft(optimized) 4 (maglock rating 4 x 2 + 5=13, 1 CT) = (7d6.hits(5)=1, 7d6.hits(5)=4, 7d6.hits(5)=4, 7d6.hits(5)=4, 7d6.hits(5)=3, 7d6.hits(5)=2, 7d6.hits(5)=1, 7d6.hits(5)=3, 7d6.hits(5)=6, 7d6.hits(5)=4).  So after 4 CT's the lock gets opened.  Everyone give themselves 4 CT's of actions before we start init.  If you wanna descend the whole time just roll it up like I layed out, only 1 descent action per IP. ]

defaulting on climbing with strength of 8=7. (6d6.hits(5)=3, 6d6.hits(5)=2) they are now successes, and now to calculate the distance as a whole, it's 10 meters plus success for each, I need to get down a total of 79 meters. first roll is 15M-79M=64M-14M=50M-12M=38M-14M=24M-12M=12M-12M=0M. At this point I've got two more rolls left, the one that matters I rolled edge on is my success to my landing. which leaves me at the bottom of the shaft until with 1 IP left. Brick will take that IP to take a knee, tell the others he's down and covering them and commit to two aim actions at the door at the top of the shaft. That will be all of Brick's actions Until combat starts, and for next combat, heres his  Initiative roll for next combat. (9d6.hits(5)=1) 10.

Brick's decent goes by quickly though in the few seconds it takes to get to the bottom feels far too long. Once the bottom of the shaft gets close enough He slows his decent and comes down to a soft landing. Wasting no time He moves away from the rope, takes a knee and aims for the opening of the shaft. @team subvocal>> Zach,I'm at the Bottom. Come down now, I've got you covered.

Brick feels confident enough in his smartgun system that he opens fire with a series of deafening short bursts which catch one of the roto-drones (Rotodrone 1) and pulverise it into a shower of sparks.

[OOC: Response 3 + Wide burst -2 = (1d6.hits(5)=0).  2nd defense knocks defense pool to zero.  So first one gives10P incomming, Body 3 + Armor 9 + AP -5 = (7d6.hits(5)=3).  Takes 7DV.  Second has 10P incomming, Body 3 + Armor 9 + AP -5 = (7d6.hits(5)=0).  Takes 10DV and is destroyed.  You could also add aim bonus since you can't use it to avoid Friendly Fire for anything but SS and SA.  By the house rules, for WSB Zach and Wagner are going to have to make two Edge + Reaction (1) one for each roll.  Wagner rolls only Edge since he is asleep in VR so can't react.  For each failure you have to resist 10P at AP -5. (no rule of six, this is just an attribute roll) ]


@Wagner:
[OOC: I'll give you 1 Find Hidden Node action before this CT.  Buying hits on a free action to analyze to get firewall which is 3 ....you can get a security account with that single first hacking roll.]

You focus your scan on one of the remaining rotodrones (Rotodrone 2)  and you find its hidden node.  You rapidly hack into the system and get a Security Access Account.  You can quickly see that it currently isn't receiving wireless commands from anyone except its communications to the other drones.  It has a rating 4 Targeting and a rating 4 Maneuvering autosoft running with optimization options each.
