Grim I noticed a long time ago...
Only Grim, all others are still kicking here so we should be able to go on playing  ;D

so who is going where and doing what

2 options as of now, Japanese guy or Lenard223.

Andromeda is for going after the Lenard type, it might be a trap, but at least it would be connected with the Bog.

Didn't we have more vehicles? I thought Andromeda had two at least, and Hank had one too, no?

Yep, sorry forgot about the rover, but if Grim is out so id the Jackrabit of Noise.
And doubt Habu is made for shadowing, imaging a a big tractor with a trailer following you, it's more horror then spy movie is it not?

That's why it'll work! Noone will suspect they're being shadowed by something so obvious! Brilliant! Muhahaha!
So yeah, there is other transportation...

Meanwhile, Silk's thoughts are going something like "They honestly trust LJ going after this guy, alone? Ugh!"

VOTE: REPLACE GRIM OR STICK WITH WHO WE'VE GOT?

depends on the post rate we are having, might be that i am pampered by games with a faster flow, but this game is on the slow side and that would mean that if we get a newb he would fast grow tired of not enough action, then as far i see we have not moved in events since well September, we are just about to close of the Hotel section and start a new one. and the recruitment and getting someone in will take time as well.

On the other hand, we all are quit specialised:
Andromeda - Technical stuff
Silk - being nice and cute
LJ - creepiness
Hank - Beating up ghouls
Kitten - being checked extra thoroughly by the Cops
Space - Coming up with the weird-funniest things in the matrix realm.

ok, maybe not the best examples but you get my drift right?  ;D
And we have no real combat specialist who could take a shot and still be able to fight at full force.
Hank might fill this role, but never seen his sheet so no comments on that.

k, now that's my insight, but ultimately the GM has to decide. so i abstain from the vote.

It's your call Chrona.
Personally I don't think we really -need- it, all of us have got some fighting skills, right? (And isn't LJ a fighting character?)
But I'm sure you'll find plenty of candidates if you decide to ask for a new player.
Pace could be a problem.....

I'm with Xzy on this.  We're six people at the moment and we have some fighting ability.  And if we don't have enough, we'll just have to find a way to do things without long fights.  Besides, getting rid of drones and vehicles is for the techies  (space and andromeda) and everything else can be stunbolted into submission.
Problem solved, no?  8)

But again, it's your call Chrona.

LJ is a stealth character.  After the surprise round is over, she can dodge pretty well, but can't soak much.

Grim's character wasn't much of a tank either though, iirc.

This is more of a finesse team than a brute squad.  That said, some Big Troll Muscle could be helpful for those times when we need someone to carry 4 unconscious characters out of a botched firefight.

But that's where Hank comes in and starts being hilarious! ;)

Methinks we're wasting time (RL, maybe IC too) being indecisive... I know thinking and planning is good and I'm all for it, but we're wasting so much time waiting for each other that the game slows down to a crawl.

Maybe we should speed it up instead of long IC conversations between our chars, we try doing it quicker here and use IC for the actual roleplaying part and summarizing?

What do you guys think? If I'm the only one feeling this way, I've no problem continuing the way we've been doing so far; just would hate to have more people lose interest in the game.

i too do not want to make a 3rd IC post saying - "Let's go!"

And the shoe can arrive at the location or you can task a watcher to come with us and then recall him to show you where we are.

It's one of those problems you have with PbP and PBEM formats.  Around a table you have these discussions for about ten minutes and then you move on, while online it takes a lot longer as you have to wait for other people who are sleeping at the time you're writing your reply.

Maybe as solution (it will still take some time, but hopefully a bit less): as soon as we're in the planning stage, each of us writes a plan in the OOC.  Or he just adds 'I like the plan of <<X>> but I would change this or that'.  Only 1 reply.  Then one person summerises the whole set and after that one more round or comments and 'I agree' and next we post something in the IC.  Everybody get's one reply in IC for his part of the plan (we can put that also in the summary) and off we go.  What do you guys think about it?

This won't help us for combat though, and that will also be very slow as there you have to wait for certain people when it's their iniative.
