Noise finally lights the cigarette.

"You don't seem to get that I not with Vory anymore."

She blows a large cloud of smoke in his direction before turning and walking out.

"I try to do this for you.  Will call."

----

Sometime later Noise catches up with the rest of the team, just in time to see the drone explode in midair and fall to the ground in a myriad of pieces.

Noise steps out of her Luna and starts looking around to see what the hell is going on.

Silk saw the drone she'd spotted shatter, nodded approvingly and turned back to the Ork. "It's destroyed already, nevermind. Guess we'll just have to wait for the rest of the crew to return from their hiding place and we can head for the Barrens so we can finish this."
She entered the car and closed the door, trapping the Ork between her and Hank. "Pfff. All this f--ing waste of time.", she remarked, partly to Hank but mostly to herself. "Like I didn't have better things planned than waste an evening driving across town for corpse disposal."

"Do you kill EVERYONE ya meet? Ghost, you'd think I'd run over ya pup, not been quietly doing mah job." He sits with his briefcase on his lap. Noise's car pulls up and she glances around before setting her sights on Romy's Alley.
Inexplicable, to those inside, Kitten suddenly leaps behind the vehicle. Back in the alley, the Hacker called Cho sees Romy above him. "Oh no, It IS you lot."

"What the hell would you know about me killing people? You can't say I didn't give you a decent chance. Tracking you down, busting through your door, getting all gangster on you and putting you in a car at gunpoint. The mage actually would have done some spell on you that'd make blood come out your ears, but I stop her!".
Silk chuckled briefly and continued her rant. "I figured, "Nah, businessmen work with reason and logic, right? Just show this guy we mean business, have a nice little talk and there won't be a reason to make this get ugly.", you know? Try cleaning up my act a bit, seeing if being a reasonable person actually works better than wasting time on torture or getting blackmail information. Yeah, I know, a whole new me but what the hell, let's try it!
But noooo. The frigging moron decides that having a polite chat and sharing some info is bad for business... I personally wouldn't think it could be worse than, let's say, acting like an arrogant dick to the people who have you at gunpoint, resulting in getting your legs broken and being tossed out of a moving car in the Barrens.
Personally I think, if you'd shown to be smart and resourceful enough, this might have been the start of a good business relationship. Good info's worth a price and this would have been kind of like the freebie dealers hand out to addicts to make sure they get 'em hooked.  But hey, what the hell do women know about business, right?"
, Silk snorted angrily.
"Of course, if you were any good at your own f---ing business you might have had a clue as to what's happening around you. That drone that was spying on you, the one you failed to spot? That guy controlling it was working for Humanis when we ran into him and some of their goons last week. And see that redhead that just happened to arrive seconds after we shove you in a car? She's in bed with the Russians... quite literally too. Specialized in Wetwork.", she laughed at her own joke.
"So here were are. With you failing to realize that, while not really a profitable deal for you, just being helpful to us is by far the best one you'll get in this situation, I'm not left with a lot of options.
Letting you go? Word gets out and I'll be a joke to anyone in the know! People will think that not cooperating with me is actually an option! And of course you'll end up in the hands of the Vory or the Policlub. The Russians well known for their patience with an attitude like yours and the 'Club for their humanitarian approach to dealing with Orks.
Keeping you for... well, let's call it 'prolonged questioning'? I don't really feel like it tonight, me giving this whole new nice girl thing a chance and all that. Besides, I'm not convinced anymore that you've got anything worth the time and effort, seeing mister bigshot infodealer didn't even have enough info to see all this crap coming in his own direction. Not to mention we'll have to risk dealing with people sent by the two others now they know we got you.
So no, I don't kill everyone I meet, only stupid f---s who fail to see an opportunity when it's offered to them. Because the only two options remaining are either ditching your stinking corpse as quickly as possible to get the others off of our backs, or you dropping the attitude and working with us. But the way things are going, I'm strongly starting to doubt the odds of that last one working out for us."

This'll take longer to say than 1IP, so spread it across them. Unless called for by the rest or engaged herself, she Silk'll stay out of this 'combat'.

Space was reformating his technic, renew the encryption, manual spyware scan, etc, something he should have done right after his little fight with the IC at the hotel, when he heard the shooting.

Space checks there last commlink position.

(ct1,1)
Noise just stood there and stared at the Chinese man for precious seconds, being caught flat footed by his unexpected appearance.

(ct1,2)
She moves to pull out her machine pistol but stops seeing how far he's already gotten and how fast he's going.  She spits at the ground and stares angrily at him as she gets back into her car.

Looking up from behind the car, Kitten saw the guy running off.

'We'll see about that,' she thought to herself.
"Nechedd," she called out as she made a few gestures.
'And down you go,' she didn't add when she saw him drop.

He normally shouldn't be dead, although it might be close.  I already wrote that he dropped as it's the most likely scenario.  If for some reason he doesn't, I'll adapt.

Andromeda was buffeled, that's the prick from last time. and he is taking the fastest way out, Again?, there was not much time she just had put her Com back on transmitting so after a few sec this hacker dude would be able to strat hacking her, witch was not something good in her book, so she set her mind on stopping him the old fashioned way, with bullets.
Simple thought changed the Regular ammo to SNS and now she only needed to have a clear shot, then he would have to show all his skill :)

LJ reached the alleyway, Romy begun swinging her rifle round and Noise.. Well Noise stood there, as did Kitten.
The next second saw Cho dash passed LJ and up the street while Noise jumped in her car.
Cho was continung to run when CRACK the air split and glowed a bright, cold blue for a split second.
Cho visibly stumbled at this but somehow, despite the mana raging in his mind, he pressed on.
CT1 PASS3
Cho was miraculously still up but seemed to have no where to run. That was until a second loud noise filled the air. It was a familiar one to some of the team. -FFFSSSSSBANG
A sewer cover was flying up, through the air, spinning as it went. It had been propelled by a loud explosion underneath but as if ready for it Cho dropped into a slide along the wet ground, towards the hole.
Cho's willpower versus DV11S (5d6.hits(5)=2)
CT1 PASS3
Gym 3 + Agi 9 - 3 wound (9d6.hits(5)=5) For his slide. Onsider this a dodge roll for any violence against him this Pass.

LJ still has all held actions from pass 1.  If it's pass 3, then let's throw 3 passes worth of knives.  Each will be called shot for +1DV on the first throw since MA moves let me do 1pt of called shot for no dp penalty.  Will be throwing them for stun using missile mastery.  Quickdraw knives (3) (15d6.hits(5)=5, 15d6.hits(5)=5, 15d6.hits(5)=5, 15d6.hits(5)=6, 15d6.hits(5)=5, 15d6.hits(5)=5) All draws successful, so throwing 6 knives.  No vis penalty for rain with thermographic.  Throw knives (14d6.hits(5)=6, 14d6.hits(5)=4, 14d6.hits(5)=5, 14d6.hits(5)=5, 14d6.hits(5)=7, 14d6.hits(5)=3) DV should be 8S + net hits or 7S +net for even # throws.

As soon as it became apparent that the guy was planning on running and the team was set to stop him, Jo drew a knife and flung it handle first into the back of the retreating man's head.  She was already pulling the 2nd knife when she saw him slump over and skid to a stop.  Rather than throw it, she lowered her arm and clutched the blade tightly as she scanned the area for witnesses.

The Hacker's form stopped just short of the sewer, one leg dangling in. Everything stopped for a second as the excitement abruptly ended, except-

"What the frag is going on out here!?" Standing in the bar's doorway is the bouncer who spoke to Kitten earlier.

How you guys want to handle this will decide whether we go into CT2 or break combat.

"Some idiot left that manhole open and he fell in," Kitten said to him as she went there, grabbing a medkit from her backpack, "don't worry, he's one of ours.  We'll take care of it.  That's what you get if you walk with your nose in the air all the time."
She added with a wink.

@team subvocal: "Silk or Hank, Keep our guy's head down so the bouncer doesn't see him."

Let's try to leave the combat as it is.  If I have to roll something, let me know.

Though occasionally distracted by the chaos outside Lendar relaxed and sighed. "What info is it you want again?"

The bouncer shut the bar door behind him, "The astral is lit like a christmas tree and," he sniffs, "that bang was explosives. Clear off, all of you."

Finally, Silk thought, maybe we can make some progress after all.
She knew she should question the guy, but part of her was nagging at herself to push the guys buttons just to annoy him the way he was annoying her.
After a few seconds of internal struggle, she found her business side to be the strongest... for the moment.
"Again? I hadn't asked anything yet. Are you feeling alright? Loss of concentration is one of the signs of depression, you know. I can give you the names of some good happy-pill dealers if you want. But anyhow, nevermind that. Let's start with one that's been bugging me since I first saw you. How does an Ork get information about Yakuza business? The Gumi aren't really known for their fondness of tuskers."

Composure (10d6.hits(5)=4) Damnit, I really wanted to annoy this guy!
