@Team: "I guess you should all try to come up with something to fill in the blanks on the SINs? For Kitten and I, I'm not entirely certain what approach we should take. We could easily be recognized from our brunch with the big boss himself, but that doesn't necessarily have to be an issue."
Silk already had been planning to use that encounter as a way to get into the casino. If they'd tried to stop her at the door, just mentioning that encounter and exaggerating her relationship with the big boss himself would have probably earned her the VIP treatment. Any Yakuza-goon who valued his fingers would know better than to stop on the toes of someone who was invited to lunch with his oyabun.
"But to be safe it might be best that none of you are known to be connected to us. One of you as manager, treating some of his most valued employees with some light entertainment... in a touchy-feely corporation like Horizon that's not really far-fetched, Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if that kind of stuff was actively encouraged there. LJ could have a problem... but the disguise from this morning seemed to be good enough to fool them."
But that was something for later.
"For now, anyone have any good ideas where to take Cho for a nice little chat? Preferably somewhere with no matrix signal and locked really tight?"
And don't think I forgot about you, red.
"Noise, perhaps on the way you'd want to explain your sudden disappearance or reappearance. Preferably both."
It wasn't a question.
She sent a message to Cheyenne, asking when she was expected to show up for work.
