Space rereads the last part of the message twice. Then he switchs back to AR to talk to the rest of the team in Habu: "Okay, the drone is yours, I'm start have some fun with their system. By the way, if LJ would say something like, don't know, like, 'find me in 15 min or I run amok', is he serious? If so, better tell it Silk." He hasn't time to track LJ by the disposable commlink and left this the rest of the team. Space priority was to find information at the datajack.

Space switchs back in VR and move through LJ comm, which now looks more like an empty room, here and there still some file fragments floating around. He sends a short command,a VR-gate opens and Space takes a look at the datajack node. A quick look down on him ensures him that his defenses still running perfect.

"Roger that." Andromeda hoped into AR and put the drone to follow LJ, if the pilot program could manage that they would know where he is anyway, if not, then she would have to ready the Shin for a speedy pick up at the hotel.

Few second later Andromeda was already on her way down to the Habu's nerve centre to take place in her Cocoon.

As she reached the room she VR'ed herself as soon as she could she swiftly changes the direction so Habu would be near Horizon when the deadline will end and started to look at the images sent back from the drone a quick message went out to the team >Does anyone see LJ?<

- That a pretty good question Space, LJ is one wierd little girl ... I'd say there is pretty good chances she will. Lemme get prepared then.

Hank stopped doing push ups and moved to his medkit, checking if the supplies are good enough in case  there is an emergency. After that he put on his Armor Jacket and start stretching.

Oren emerged from the bathroom, finishing a pretend call on her commlink. As Kitten passes her the news of her lost son, she blinks once, twice... A faint look of panic starts to appear on her face but gets halted. Her face is forced back into its emotionless shape; all but her eyes, which narrow into a stare sharp enough to split a hair.
"What do you mean, 'has ran off'? My son is a disciplined, well behaved three year old, left in the care of a bodyguard whom I'm told was good at her job."
She slowly turned her head towards the now empty table and then back at her bodyguard. Her voice turned into a hiss, which while not shouted was clearly audible above the quiet private conversations going on in the restaurant.
"You incompetent gaijin... You can't even watch a toddler? Why are you wasting time standing here when you should be looking for my son and why did you not inform me immediately? And why has the hotel security not been able to find him?"

"Excuse my interruption, Ojousan. Your son is missing?" A very well, but traditionally, dressed Japanese man, you would guess to be in his 70s or 80s, has risen from a few tables over, followed by everyone else at his table. "This shall not do at all!" He claps wrinkled hands that extend from baggy sleeves together, everyone at his table and half the guards in the area Kitten had been in snap to attention. "There is a boy of three lost inside the hotel, inform the horizon staff and help in his location!"

There is a sound of acknowledgment followed by the marching of expensive shoes.

Oren thanked the man with a deep, respectful bow and addressed him in Japanese.
"Thank you, kind sir. But please, don't trouble yourself. My apologies for that outburst, I did not mean to disturb anyone. I'm certain Jun will be alright, he's a smart boy. And certainly the hotel's security is capable enough not to let such a small child wander around unsupervised?"

He responds in kind, matching your politness. "The choice to trouble myself is mine alone but I commend your fortitude. As for the staff, well as you say.. he is a smart boy. Never underestimate a child playing hide and seek. My men can only increase the speed to which you may return to your meal without a weight on your shoulders. Come now, sit." He gestures to his table. "There is no mother who would not be worried in this situation." He continues to insist until you do sit, his pushy form of kindness is overwhelming.

"Your boy is most likely playing a child's game, what say we play an adult's game so that fate brings him back to you sooner. A small wager. 5000 nuyen to me if he is found by my men, numbering 7 or 5000 nuyen to you if any of the hotel staff bring him back here. Sound reasonable?"

@Comms: "LJ, you tuned in? This guy is betting 5 grand that his guys find Jun first. We want to take the bet? Rich gambler like him, might know something... might not. Who the hell is this guy?"
Not paying that just out of my own pockets, that's for sure.

"I'll find him, no worries," Kitten said, before she turned to go talk to hotel security.  When the man came towards Silk, Kitten turned at the entrance and had a good look at him.  She sent a picture to the rest of the team, but before leaving to search for LJ, she had a look at his aura.

Space only toke a quick glimps at the picutre and focus back on the VR infront of him.
@team: "Japanese & Gambler, he could know something about The Bog. Since we know the last location of LJ and Kitten can support the hotel security (resotring his honor, bla bla), we shoudl take the bet."

Andromeda Quickly changes the subject of search of her agent to the photo and voice of the patron. then went on searching for LJ with her drone.

Silk made Oren apologize for the slight delay the commlink messages caused by smiling sadly and saying "Well, at least the child is smart enough to make sure his commlink can't be tracked when he decides to hide."

The smile faded away as quickly as it came. Her voice and manner were serious but respectful, facing an elder. "You certainly are a gambling man in more than one way, sir. Many women would be appalled at the suggestion that her child's well-being should be the subject of a wager.
Luckily you are right to judge me as somewhat of a gambler too, but wrong to consider me all that worried about my son. Despite the lack of discipline and respect in this country, money -more specifically the lawsuit and loss of company image losing a child might lead to- will prove to be enough of a motivational force for these workers to ensure the quick and safe return of my son. So I will accept the wager, together with your kind apology for so taking advantage of a woman in emotional distress... Lunch would seem like a fitting way to do so, wouldn't you agree? I heard great things about this restaurant, the fish comes highly recommended."
There was a slight mischievous glint in her eyes and playful tone in her voice, she too was gambling.

"He doesn't seem to be augmented, nor magical," Kitten said to the team over the comm, "of course, deltaware is difficult to spot.  Now I just have to find LJ and we're good.  So if you're still on this circuit, tell me when you're done so I can 'find' you and we can win the side bet."

[Chrona]

"Ah but others grief is not something I can apologise for taking pleasure in, these old bones crave what they must." He grins widely and sits at his table. "We have a deal. Order as you desire if you are confidant."
