Thermo's Banishing 1 + Magic 3 + Power focus 2 = (6d6.hits(5)=2)

Thunderhead narrows his eyes again, willing his mighty smith's hammer to smash the chains that bind Zach to the invading spirit. While the spirit is distracted battling the mighty bear, it may be easier to free Zach from the spirit.

SMASH! SMASH! SMASH! The mental hammer strikes true, causing the mystic bonds to shimmer and vibrate.

[OOC: Force (5d6.hits(5)=1)].  That's a glitch.  Since the ghost has 1 Edge left she's now been banished.]

As soon as Thermo rebukes the possessor of Zach with all his might, his wizened dwarven face snarling with the strain, silence suddenly seize the forest and the bear stands down.  Zach stands perfectly motionless his eyes closed and his head bowed.  Beside him stands the little girl you saw before, sniffling with tears running down her cheeks.  She looks at Brick and Thermo with a wide eyes and a sad face.  She lets go of Zach's hand and turns to walk off into the mist which envelopes her until she disappears from view.

As soon as she's gone from sight Zach falls to his knees clutching his head.

@Zach:
You suddenly wake up and your head is banging.  The first thing you see is a massive stinking bear huffing and puffing a noxious mist into the crips night air.  Behind them Brick aiming his Ingram at you and Thermo slowly picking himself up off the ground next to his pet wolf staring at you intently.  You have no idea what happened.  The last thing you remember was a little girl.  As soon as you think of her images and scenes start flashing through your mind.
NAN soldiers rummaging through the cottage
Gun fire...daddy's bloodied hand reaching out to you
You run and run
A POP in the night and you fall to your knees...your pajamas soiled and stained

You shake your head to throw off the horrible fear these images give you.

@Thermo:

You see Zach's aura has returned to normal and is only a little shooken up.

@Everyone:
Current Time -- 03:10 AM.  Distance covered: 7km

Everything remains calm and only the occasional groan from the mystic bear changing position as he sits and licks his paws interrupts the stillness of the night.

You check the pack-mule drone and the leg that gave way seems to be missing a screw or two and doesn't work as you give it commands to rise.  The coffee sacks remain strewn around it.

For last few seconds, Zach felt like a golden fish in aquarium, watching the deformed picture of the world throught thick and dirty glass. Imprissoned in his own body...he experiences pure madness and despair, like being bounded in hell with no chance to get away...

As the spirit leaves his body and the cage and chains binding his soul slowly fade away, he fell to his kneee, drolling and almost crying....

Jo...Job tvoyu mať !!!...Oh god notnononono not any more...

his tone changed from cursing almost to begging, as pictures of childrens demise run through his mind.

He dropped heavily on his hands, resting against the cursed soil of this place, breathing deeply, slowly looking around...

Are you guys OK? Hope I didnt made too much damage...

than his eyes meet the crashed walker drone at the center of the clearing
Oh shit...Brick? I can do a few things about hardware, well IDN if this is in my competencies. Even my tools may not be fully propper for this work. Can we handle this?

Brick assesses Zach as he shakes off the effects of the spirit. "Do what you can, or get ready to pack this shit up and hump it out. Regardless we need to get moving and be out of here ASAP theres no telling what other Frakking Drek is prowling out here. Thunder, come'er, I'll heal do what I can to get you back up and running." Brick props himself up keeping the Ingram in hand and scanning the area around them. All other forms of perception. (5d6.hits(5)=1), Visual perception (8d6.hits(5)=3), Hearing percepion (10d6.hits(5)=3)

(OOC:Once Brick Determines that the area is clear he's going to do what he can to fix up Thunder. If he Determines NOT, then hel'll call contact and engage if appropriate.)

Zach takes a shot at trying to fix up the leg.  It looks like you need a screw but you can't find the one that was there before.  Mechanical parts ain't really your thing.  Looks like the load is gonna have to get huffed the rest of the way.

@Brick:
You don't hear or see anything other than the occasional bat or other small critter.

Thunderhead sits down on a fallen log, grunting under his breath as his bruised ribs and aching back give him hell. The electric shock rattled him to the point that his teeth still felt all coppery. Goddamn technology. Used to be that when a dwarf got shot he died, he shrugged it off, or he recovered. Not the indignity of being knocked off his feel by a flying battery.

Max comes over to sit by his master. The big dog, still invisible to most viewers, makes an indent on the soft ground as he sits down heavily. He did good; he didn't attack their pack-mate, even though every instinct in him said that he should have.

Thunder says: "We need to rest for a bit before we pack this stuff out. Max can carry two bags if you guys can get the harness made up. Make sure it's quick-release so I can release him if we get into trouble."

With that, Thunder closes his eyes and begins to meditate, sitting cross legged on the log. He drops his Increased Reflexes spell and allows himself to heal. 3 hours should be enough time to get back to full health.

Overhead, Shoryuken circles protectively, looking out for trouble and also casting his Detect Flower spell to try and find the elusive awakened flower Thunderhead needs to bargain the new spell out of his talismonger.

Fuck! Seems Ill be unable to put this piece of junk back to work!. What the hell happened to it? I cannot even figure out what is wrong.

Zach stands next to lying drone, irritated expression on his face. He seem thought, well even a stone could crack under sufficient pressure.
God dammit...
we better move out of this place. I gues I can carry a bag or two. So lets move when everyone`s ready.

Possitive. Ill leave scout here, in case that is some patrol, I  bet they wont let us just continue if they find this wreck. Thunder, clean up by yourself and lets move on.

Zach takes as much bags as he is able to carry for a longer walk, checks his SMG and takes the point, leading the team further.

Navigation: LO(3)+Navigation(2)+Mapsoft(5) (10d6.hits(5)=4)

Perception audio/visual: INT(4)+PERC(4)+A/V Enhancement(3) (11d6.hits(5)=5, 11d6.hits(5)=5)

Infiltration: Agi(4)+Infil(3)+Imp.Abi(2)+Cat(2) (11d6.hits(5)=1) :P

Thunderhead picks up the remaining bags, his back cracking audibly as he stands upright. Fortunately, dwarves are tough little buggers, and he's nowhere near down for the count. He follows Zach and Brick, Max following at his heels. He's ready to send the bear spirit out to squash whatever might be coming out of the woods if need be.

The sound from far off doesn't seem to happen again but it seems that waiting around here isn't a good idea with all the critters roaming the forrest.

The team starts trudging forward at a much slower pace from having to carry the payload.  Finally about an hour later climb down a steep hillside and you arrive at a creek nestled in a tight mountain valley which is almost the size of a river...about 20m across.  The sun hasn't come up yet and you are all relying on lowlight to see.  Your destination is only 1 mile north.

[OOC: Everyone roll an audio perception test]
