Aideen promptly logged into the new account and entered the security node and looked around for Nuadu.  She kept a warry eye out for the seeker programs while she gently poked at some of the low sec files.

Assisting Nuadu.  Exploit+Electronic+hot sim  9d6.hits(5)=6

successes for assistence test to be added to Naudus rolls by Aideen 6 success adds 6 dice (6d6.hits(5)=2)

second asssitence roll by Aideen (9d6.hits(5)=1)

aid other action by Aideen. (1d6.hits(5)=1)

nodes detection roll against you (10d6.hits(5)=2)

nodes detection roll against you (10d6.hits(5)=2)

OOC:  6 successes for the first hour and 6 successes and then only 4 successes need for the last roll so Aideens assistance roll isn't required for this one. third hour and your in. You also need to let Aideen in again. Just FYI.  No alarms go off when you enter so it seems you snuck in just fine.

You see a more industrial post apocaltyptic style to this node sort of like the future scenes from this trideo you once saw where the main character could dodge bullets.  Wires criss cross the landscape culminating into towers with large flat screens attached to them.  there are three towers.  One says trideo security feeds, the other says badge access and on-site locks and the third one has a title of confidential software/information back-ups.

Flitting between buildings, the ghost slid into a steaming vent on the side of a grungy Japanese restaurant. A moment later, it climbed from a smokestack under the Massive flatscreen titled 'Badge Access'. Looking around, the ghost under a door to an external catwalk.

Nuadu is going to thread edit again:
8d6.hits(5)=4, 8d6.hits(5)=1, 8d6.hits(5)=5, 8d6.hits(5)=1, 8d6.hits(5)=0, 8d6.hits(5)=1
I forgot to take of the -2 for threading stealth and exploit, so i'll take the first roll for a total of 3 so DV 3S for resisting fading.
10d6.hits(5)=4
No Problem. Once he's inside he'll write Aideen's admin account. edit 3, computer 3
6d6.hits(5)=2,6d6.hits(5)=2, 6d6.hits(5)=2, 6d6.hits(5)=2, 6d6.hits(5)=3, 6d6.hits(5)=2, 6d6.hits(5)=3
Done. Let me know what's in these towers, I'll go to the confidential software/info back ups tower to search for anything involving the transports. I'm also not sure if I have to edit the access logs in each different node, or if I can do it all from the first node, as the others are just slaves to it.

OOC: Most access logs are automatically taken care of by your stealth program.  any time you use computer rather then hacking due to being an admin it is saved in the security logs however such as when you make an account.

the badges tower has a floor plan of the company building with a bunch of dots for employees and a listing of which doorsare opened and who opened each of them.    Trideo Security feeds has all of the on site cameras on LCD screens around a tower of wires and move around showing you the feeds you wish to see at any given time.  The  confidential software/information back-ups at first appears to be a standard database file structure interfact built into the tower.

OOC: However I need both of you to make a matrix perception check.  Roll your current (no threading) analyze program + computer +2 for hot simm and technos get +2 to there dice roll for being technos.  remember the negatives for maintaining the threading.

Aideen as Nuadu Approaches the confidential software/information back-ups you notice something come up on yoru analyze program.  It appears as though a data bomb has been attached to it along with a stealth program to hide its presence.  You might want to let him know before he sets it off.

OOC: both of you (assuming Naudu is warned) roll matrix security procedures + logic streight dice as its a knowledge check so distractions from threading and hot simm bonuses dont apply.

Matrix Security+Logic 8d6.hits(5)=4

Aideen looks over the file and slowly turns to Nuadu. "Thant's not good.  It has a Data bomb.  Can you defuse it?"

Ashitara padded slowly over to Tom, sniffing along the ground as she went over to where he sat. She paused a moment as she neared his boots. She wasn't used to this smell, but she very much liked it. She licked the side of it. "Tastes good. Strong?" She nosed her way up his pant leg to the top of the boot. There she gingerly bit the tip of the boot's tongue, yanking slightly to test it's durability. "Strong." She purred lightly in approval.

"Many strange things this one." She looked Tom over thoughtfully. She circled around to the man's left side to explore the glimmering arm she'd seen before. She touched her nose to it. She pulled her head back quickly with a groan. She ran her wrist down the bridge of her nose. "Less cold cold thing." She paced around him, never taking her eyes off the metal prosthetic. She was trying to get a read on its purpose. "Weapon?" Her ear twitched as though flicking the idea away. " No. Like claws."

She went back to the exposed bit of arm. She bit his thumb, not hard, but she needed to know more about this strange thing. She tested it a moment between her back teeth. "Odd sound..." She moved her way up his wrist and forearm as she continued to test the limb with her teeth. The cloth of his shirt kept shifting. She placed her paws on the crimson fabric to hold it steady. "Hollow?" She shook her head. "Not hollow..." She huffed as she tried to find an apt description. "Full hollow?" She nodded. "Full hollow."

Nuadu doesn't know how to defuse data bombs himself, and if he did, he would be crazy. So instead, he'll call a friend.:
Compiling crack sprite rating 5 (8d6.hits(5)=5)
Shweet. Now that's opposed by the sprite's rating:
crack sprite rating 5 Resistance check (5d6.hits(5)=0)
Pbbhaha, the sprite actually critically glitched on its resistance roll, so on top of five tasks, something else happens, I guess that's up to you Joe :D. Since the sprite didn't score any successes, I don't even have to resist fading.

A low echoing grumble issued from the spirit as it noticed the data bomb Aideen Pointed out. It was a minuscule tripwire lining the door to the information backups room, and Nuadu surely would've tripped it had he not been warned. "Perhaps. . ." The ghost hummed quietly in response to Aideen's query. "But I'll need to call a friend." It said, wisps of code suddenly spilling from it's mouth and eyes in a bright flare. In an instant, the lines of code merged together, connecting into a larger whole, and soon a man appeared.

He was tall and lanky, dressed in a blue pinstriped suit, his faced covered in a balaclava. "Gentlemen?" Said the sprite as he withdrew a cigarette from a small case and lit it.

The ghost seemed pleased. "I want you to defuse that bomb." It commanded pointing at the doorway with it's only arm. The spirit gave a half laugh, cutting itself off and looking confused for a moment as the clipped sound reverberated through the room. Nuadu had felt a tickle as Ashitara's whiskers skimmed along the nanoreceptors on his alphaware. His meatbody gave an involuntary chuckle. "Phantom limb is acting up again..." Thought Nuadu as his avatar looked down at the empty space below it's right shoulder.

When the time comes for the spy to sap the bomb he'll roll defuse 5 + Hacking 5, and likely die horribly, you didn't mention what rating the bomb was, Aideen would know I think.
Rating 5 Crack sprite disarm data bomb (10d6.hits(5)=6)
hmm. Maybe we'll get lucky.

OOC: it is a rating 5 data bomb.  Aideen realizes that she recognizes the security protocols for this and it appears to be a honey pot.  This is where the node designers will guard something that is suppoed to appear to be highly valueable and booby trap it.  If indeed it is a honey pot that would suggest the database they are trying to access has no real value and is just a shell.

Aideen sighs as she notices the type of bomb and shakes her head. "Leave it alone, there's nothing in here but the bomb.  We need to keep looking, Maybe we can find the transport company they are planning on using." She said and looked at the other two nodes.  She was willing to bet that the data they sought was in a sub node in one of the others.

OOC: Will her admin access get her in there, or will she have to have Tom make her another one?

OOC: Normally no your log in here wouldnt work on other nodes.  However since I would expect the security here would need to be able to act on any of the other nodes we will assume they have the ability to alter there account shere to give themselves access to the other nodes as well.  It will take an computer + edit (2) test to use the utiliies here to change your account to work on the other nodes.
