As the ork buts into his negotiations, Debbin shoots him a look of "what the hell are you doing!"  Once the ork finishes he little speach, Debbin steps back in.  What my obtuse friend here is trying to say is your community is in dire straights at the moment.  If we step in as out of town muscle it will lessen your standing with the other established gangs in the area, and as we all know, the loss of standing in organizations such as that can lead to dire consequences.  Once we have hammered out final details of the IDs and fencing of our unwanted wares, we can then come to a decision that works for all parties involved.

As I have the Charisma of a turnip I will, "sit intently and listen to negotiations." Killing Humanis groups in Mutt's mind is a public service which he would assist happily if asked. ;D

Information searches, Bypass[ooc]Bypass, I almost took you literally, then decided that was too far. Red circle, not red cross.
Bypass, there's just not much in there in the news and public appearances. You get a bit of imagery of them, along with a lot of other gangs, at a Humanis Atlanta rally. They're mentioned as participants in some gang fights, but the newsbites don't tell you much beyond that they've been around a few years. One thing that might be of note is that there are more such articles in the past year or two than there were before. Oh, and there's an article that says the gang's leaders are known by titles, not names, and they're similar to what the old KKK used to use; wizard, magi, scribe, and so forth.

As for history and origin, it's just not there to get. Gangs don't tend to have publicists and this one's no exception. You do run across one tidbit. Rumor says the current leadership of the gang's been the same for the past three years.

Information, Rafa You know that the Gallos are a latino Troll gang. Like the gang you found they're more-or-less friendly with the Chulos, but they're almost exclusively troll and your group is mostly ork. They've got a decent rep, nothing great but not a bunch of wannabes, either. Could be there's an arrangement with your new home, but you'll have to check later.

You don't know much about the greenbacks. Orks, near the gallos. You've heard something about the red circle, but all your memory comes up is that they're humanis. You think there's more but you'll have to check with the padres, the leaders of your gang.

information, Boris
The greenbacks have colors similar to the Boyz. You don't know there's a connection for sure, though, since they're about 5 or 6 miles north of your dinner table.

"Chingado" mutters the troll standing at the end. He and the troll next to him reach for their weapons and start toward Rafa. At almost the same instant the scarred troll sitting at the table throws up a hand and rattles a sharp command in Spanish. <<No. Wait.>> Almost the same scenario plays at the other end, though it's a standing ork who grabs both his companions shoulders. "Later, if we gotta," he says.

Mr. Johnson raises his eyebrows at Rafa. "Semper fi, mofo. You got the balls to show how easy the circle falls, or you just going to flap your purty mouth?," he says, then almost dismissively turns back to Debbin.

"You get that the IDs aren't SINs, right? They'll sorta work like SINs for some things, says we vouch for who you are because you're one of us, but they're not going to be worth jack to a corp or the City. On the other hand they won't be fake. Well, other than I doubt you're going to give us your real name.  One ID free, apiece, after the job is done. 50% discount for up to two more."

"The stuff that's too hot to keep we'll fence, no questions asked. You already know we're probably not going to be able to pay you right away. If we could afford to do that we'd pay you more in cash right now. So we'll take one to two weeks to sell it. I'll give you a choice. You can take 35% guaranteed, or you can take half of what we can sell it for. Usually that'll range between 70 and 80% of market price. If we sell it for more, you get half of more. If we sell it for less... you get the idea."

"One more thing. Salvage is yours. I don't know what they've got, but I'd be willing to bet there's something we'd like to have. Doesn't matter. If you can get rid of them, it's a win even if you find Dunkelzahn's toenail hoard."

Debbin mulls the offer over in his head before responding, Sounds like a reasonable offer, but I need to confer with the rest of the, he motions towards the others behind him, others before concluding our negotiations.  It will only take a few moments.  Debbin then turns towards the others and moves closer to them, while also trying to create a bit of distance from Johnson.  In a hushed tone Debbin says, I think that's the best I can do at the moment.  Though the decision to pull the trigger on this job will be left up to you all, I think we should take it.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Boris puts his hands on the table and leans in close, making the table groan with his weight.

Boris remembers when the Russian military panel reviewed his case after his accident. All humans. Bureaucrats who would end his career with the touch-screen of a data tablet. Militant little humans who pushed him around while he was still in the hospital.

"Boris will help get the streets back. They push around small? They push around weak? They no push around Boris so easy."

The dwarf speaks up,

"Excuse me. Would you like us to step out of the room for a moment? Alternatively, would you like to use another room?"

"If you could excuse us for a moment, that would be most appreciated," Sammy said to the dwarf.  She had already decided to join in.  Humanis had about as much problems with mages as with non-humans, so it was self-interest.  And a bolt-hole was always a nice thing to have.

"We'll wait for you in the lobby," he replies. "I'll have someone wait at the end of the entryway. Just step out and tell them when you're ready and we'll come back."

He glances to each side, and as he slides off his stool the troll and ork to each side stand. They nod, and leave the room.

The white noise generator and jammer are both still running.

"I'm in," Sammy said as soon as Mr. J and his bodyguards are out of the room, "humanis hates mages about as much as they hate anything that is not them.  And we'll make the rest of the money with the spoils of war.  Which reminds me, anybody here any experience with medicine?"

Seems like that gang operates on the scene for over 3 years with the same leader...maybe man responsible for their military tactics. Not too much about them in medias res. No known names, only ranks. Seems like hardcore racists/shapists rooted on the legacy of Ku Klux Klan...
Bypass stops suddenly, as he realizes looks of others in the room.
Ah...Bypass my name, damen und herren. I would try to do more detailed dataserch on the topic later, this is what I was able to get just at this short time....And yes, this means I`m in...

Rafa hadn't moved since he had entered the room and still stood against the wall next to the door with his arms crossed across his chest. He was somehow disappointed when the trolls he had baited were held back by their boss, but he had expected that. Just another sign that all the fight had been sucked out of 'em.
He tried remaining quiet and listening to what the rest had to say, but couldn't help himself from bursting into loud laughter when he heard the other 'runners say they're in. As an answer to their questioning looks, he shrugged his shoulders.
"I ain't got no problem with fighting some humanis goons, but there's some problems with this whole thing.
Like what's this guy want us to do?
Beat up some of 'em? Won't keep 'em away for long.
Beat up all of 'em? We don't even know how many there are, they could be hundreds and we're just us.
Or we gonna send a loud and clear message by killin' 'em?"
He grinned sarcastically and faked enthusiasm, "Yeah, fun! How many? Five, ten, fifty people?
You all cool with that much death and blood, huh? You're all killers, the real deal like in the trids?
And when that's all done, you all okay with having made yourself a target of a worldwide organization that's always waiting for any good excuse to kill people who ain't human or don't share their human supremacy thoughts? Or are you guys so busy counting all the small change that's been thrown our way that you all forgot there's a job to be done?
So you're all 'in', huh? In on what, exactly?"

I can see the connection between gang media appearance and the career of current leader. they sure as hell do have some hierarchy of succession, well cutting a head should give them things to reconsider...and weaken them enought that other gangs would possibly find this as the possibility to payback. Well finding this head would not be an easy task.

Nekomusumi purred to herself. "I'm in. As for what we're doing, we can figure that out when we've had a chance to do some more research. Maybe there are some leaders who can be blackmailed, or perhaps a couple key figures who can be eliminated. Or perhaps we convince the cops that the Circle is into some nastier things. What do you think reaction of the locals would be if they found out the Circle was being supplied by Aztlan? Or insect spirits?"
