Guess I'll just roll the sniper's resistance now.  5d6.hits(5) → [3,3,6,1,2] = (1) He takes 9S.  Sundance still has an action this turn.  Everyone else, init.  Sniper's init 8d6.hits(5) → [6,5,2,6,4,6,2,2] = (4)

The drone threw up sparks as the bullets found a soft point in the machine's armor.  The Major winced and gritted her teeth.  Lights flashed everywhere in her home node, listing damage to vital systems.  It was almost enough to make her feel ill.

CT2 IP1: [Sniper 12;]

Wounds: [Lynx {8P}; Sniper {9S}]

Sundance, seeing one hit and one miss, kept moving after getting behind the van and came out the other side, aiming to land one more grenade near the sniper.

One dose, maybe, maybe not. Two, enough to drop trolls.

Walk out from behind cover (so Sundance isn't taking "firing from cover," but will end IP3 not behind cover from the sniper).

Another shot, same modifiers/target as before. Sundance gets 6 hits http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3293445/ scatters 8 minus hits http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3293446/ and then scatter direction is 2 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3293450/ forward and right.

Assuming you want to stick with dodge to move away, the grenade will land 5m "right" and 3m "down" from the sniper. Since he can't dodge off the rooftop, he needs to dodge "up" to avoid it, so he'd need 6 hits to get far enough.

Sundance only fires a second grenade if the first one misses. If he does: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3293459/ http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3293461/ http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/search/935651 this one goes 11m "up" and 5m "right" of the sniper, which will miss completely.

If the first grenade hits, Sundance is going to take a simple action to look around for any other snipers/threats/anything that stands out.

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3293478/ 5 hits

Holding an action from one IP to the next burns the subsequent IP unless you've only got one IP remaining.  So surprise will burn an IP for anyone with more than one.  2nd CT won't be happening, since...
Sniper dodges with edge 11d6.hitsopen(5,6) → [3,2,[6, 1],3,2,[6, 1],3,4,3,1,2] = (2)  Not enough.to get away.  Let's make it fitting.  End of combat outside.

Drone taken care of as best he could, and grenades incoming, the sniper jumped off the roof to repel to the ground, but not fast enough to escape another dose of narcoject.  He went unconscious shortly after vaulting the roof ledge and hit the ground with a crunch.  The though occurred that he might have survived the drop, but that was cut short by the sound of the building's security unloading a half a mag into his prone form.

That was not good; I don't want to find out what kind of security response is going to show up after that little firefight. We need to find Vanian and get the fuck out of here. Crimson, you might need to deflect attention from us if anyone starts poking around in our direction.

With that, Sundance headed into the building towards Vanian's, hopefully before anyone else decided to start taking potshots at him.

Motoko's van reclaimed the drone. It was too badly damaged. Another shot would probably destroy it outright, and she'd still have to spend who knew how much to repair the thing! This bastard had better be worth it!

After  Sundance had finished talking Crimson added "Roger that.",  got out of her hiding place and started to run towards the fallen sniper while looking what the Sec team is doing and whether there is any Sec response on the ground.
@Motoko >Hey buddy can you bring my bike to the Dead guy on the double, i might try to get some info or loot of him while the Sec guys come down to claim him, could be something to pay for your Drone, looked bad even for me a non tech gal.<

The two security guns on the front of the building which just shot the sniper into pulp move to track Crimson running toward the front of the building.  A message came on over their external speaker accompanied by AR like a subtitle. "Only warning.  Knight Errant is on its way.  Approaching this property will be seen as an act of aggression."

Crimson came to a halt and put her hands up to show the guards she is no threat to them, risking got shot was not what she needed at this moment. but she was not giving up on getting to the sniper as well. "Why? Why are you just standing there? the man was clearly shot and he fell down, he might bleed to his grave. Why the hell are you just standing there and doing nothing? If you would only allow me to help him, I ... I might save his life. Please let me at least try!" there was partial despair visible in her emotions, partial sorrow. She looks like she does not understand why no one here is doing anything to help him.

OOC:
Con the guards in believing her intention are only to help the sniper to survive not to help him run away or anything like that..(5)

@Motoko >Looks like i will need to charm my way further, so you might try to see if you can locate the com of this guy and hack it, there could be some info on who he was and who paid  him to get us killed.<

Motoko cursed mentally, and sent a wireless command to Crimson's bike to roll up next to the van.

I don't have time to do a good job of it. If there's a data bomb, or worse, we'll lose everything. I'll try and shut down the guns long enough for you to get the prick out of there. After I empty his bank account, and we get any information we can out of him, I have a friend in the Yakuza who will be glad to let him work off the debt he owes them for protecting him from me by placing him in one of their bunraku parlors.

<OOC> Scanning for the node of the guns. So I can do a quick and dirty hack.

I'll just say that the spider believes Crimson but doesn't care.  You might have missed the part where he emptied half a mag into the downed sniper from an auto-turret.  Major finds the building's public node, and the sniper's hidden node.

There was a weighted pause before the intercom broadcast again.
"If I was concerned for his health I would not have shot him so many times.  Jog on looky-loo, or you'll get some of the same."

From inside Vanian's building, there is a loud BANG.

Having found the node, she begins hacking herself a security account. Over the comm, she sends a message to Crimson. It'll take a moment to blast through the building's firewall. May as well see if there's anything you can do for Vanian until then. I'll pick the fragger up once I've knocked out the spider.

<OOC> Hacking on the fly.

I would very much like some idea of what is exploding before I find it, yes. We may need to get out of here fast so both of you be ready to run for it.

Yep this one, but i thought that occurred from the roof,  not from the front of the building.
"But ...." Crimson wanted to continue arguing with the guards, but the explosion delivered the right spotlight to change the way she was approaching this.
When the explosion occurred Crimson caught her knees and started to scream just like a panic attack, and thanks to her voice control powers this scream was loud and ear shattering. you could hear many different thing in the scream it self, calls for help, no "I don't want to die", of course she herself was ready to move at any moment, then the guards could just decide to shoot this nuisance.
@Team >the hell was that explosion?<

Mirikon:  Kusanagi is hacking the building's public node, not the sniper's hidden node, yes?  1st spot check: 8d6.hits(5) → [1,5,5,1,4,1,1,1] = (2) is a glitch.  I'll say the node's Analyze program has taken this moment to auto update and will be down for the next 2 CTs.  Don't forget that you've got +2 dice for hotsim.  TMs are always considered to be in hotsim.  Feel free to roll them along with the rest of your dice on the next hack on the fly attempt.

Initially unaware of the blast from Vanian's building, The Major began to assault the node down the street.  It wasn't exactly yielding, but what else would you expect from Bellview.

She didn't bother checking on the others. At the moment, the priority was getting into this building's system, and dumping the spider. For one thing, it would be bad if everyone came out this door, only to be caught by the gun turrets on the building across the street. But she needed admin access to dump the spider without engaging in cybercombat, which she didn't have time for right now. It would take a bit longer, but she was moving at the speed of thought.

<OOC> Yeah, hacking the building's node. She wants to take her time with the sniper's link, so she can be sure she won't set off databombs and the like.
