All depends if i see Sundance, then i join him, if not, then i will proceed there where i could thing the back yard is, to see the situation, as was intended in the beginning. might have to walk along the corridor for a while to find it i guess  :D
Thinking as this encounter starts to resemble a Combat mode will try to make post in that manner, in other words short coms to get the message across fast.

Seeing a man in black feeing the scene Crimson decides not to engage, as she is really not sure she can get him with her taser even thou it would be much more her wish-list then live rounds.
@Mokoto >One black sniper-bro coming your way<

<OOC> Total of 7 hits now.
4d6.hits(5)=1
10d6.hits(5)=3

Motoko couldn't do much else while she was busy hacking except double check that the doors were locked on the van. She needed to get into that node. She'd deal with the sniper's friend later.

Miri: Since you still need another roll to get in with admin, I'll throw two spots against you.  Remember that threading is a non-action, so you can do it at any time in response to something like the security spotting you.  You'll just have a -2 to other actions while you keep your stealth threaded.  Anyway.. 6d6.hits(5) → [6,2,5,1,5,3] = (3) spotted.  You'll need to thread, or the system will trigger a restricted alert against you, firewall (and the threshold to entry) will go up 4 points, and your account will have no privileges upon entry. Here's the next roll if you thread.  6d6.hits(5) → [6,6,3,3,4,2] = (2) so you'll have to thread your Stealth CF up to 8 to keep from getting caught.
Kour: So you're running toward the backdoor?

The Major bent and flexed the code guarding access to the node, but it was proving very difficult to find a way in to the level of access she wanted.

Motoko could feel the system starting to notice her, and quickly pumped up the power of her Stealth form, but the action kept her from concentrating on penetrating the node.

<OOC> Threading. 10d6.hits(5)=3

Hacking. 8d6.hits(5)=0

I've already rolled the detection roll for this attempt.  You could roll another attempt after this, but the next detection roll would only need one hit to notice you.  You might be better off aborting the attempt unless you want to use edge on this.  Don't know what it's worth to you to get in at this point, what with things basically over at the residence.

BTW, I'll allow a first-aid equivalent of an initial hardware + logic roll to quick fix your bot.  Hits would be capped at your hardware skill, but it could put it back in the fight, at least until you can take the 6-12 hours to do a repair on it.
Giving up on hacking the node, Motoko dropped back out of VR, and repositioned the van a bit away from the door. The motorcycle was on the sidewalk, engine running. Opening the back door of her van, Motoko got in a sniper's position with her rifle, and aimed at the door. Anyone who tried to get out without her say so, or who tried to load Vanian in any vehicle but her van would be shot, and then run over by the bike.

To the team, she said, "The node's too tough to risk it right now. If those people have Vanian, bring him to my van. If they so much as twitch wrong, they get to meet my Barret. Same goes for anyone who exits the building holding weapons except you two, period." Motoko is beyond pissed.

*subvocal**We don't have time to screw around - we need to be getting out of here before more goons show up. I give it maybe 50-50 that these guys are legit - at the very least, they're not here to kill Vanian or he'd be dead. We need to figure out something we can all agree to, fast.*

"We have a problem. My friends do not trust you. I do not want to waste bullets shooting my employer's friends or let him go with his enemies. Join [channel number], we need to sort this out fast."

OOC: Sundance is basically just trying to put everyone in comm contact so we can talk, instead of him being a relay.

Surprise roll  13d6.hits(5) → [4,5,6,3,1,2,1,4,3,6,6,1,5] = (5)  rolling opposed in case it's a miracle.  6d6.hits(5) → [4,6,1,2,4,2] = (1)  Nope.  No reactions to the toss.  initiative 10d6.hits(5) → [5,3,4,4,2,1,1,1,4,5] = (2) 12.  throw 5d6.hits(5) → [2,5,2,6,4] = (2) 2 net 1d6 → [2] = (2) 2 m-2m dead on 1d6 → [4] = (4) irrelevant.

While Makoto was repositioning her van, the last remaining troubleshooter came running out the gate on the right side of the complex.  He had something in his hand that he tossed at the security-logo emblazoned step van before taking a hard left and sprinting up the street.  It hit the driver's side with an unusually loud thump.

Guessing that that thump was a grenade, Motoko had the van reverse out of the blast radius, while keeping her sights set on the exit.

"At this point, I have a sniper that if he's still alive, owes me a new drone. I've got grenades coming down around me, and the Knights are on their way. So I don't give two dreks what they say, Vanian is brought to my van, now, or I start going off on people. I aim to get paid, and that's all there is to it. Tell them they can have ONE person in my van, if they wish, and he can't be magic."

THAT was not what she wanted to hear. Two rifle shots later, there were two nice new holes in the enemy van.

<OOC> Putting two rounds through their van's engine block. 4 successes on the first, 3 on the second. Since the van doesn't get a defense roll, that means I do 14P (-5 AP) on the first shot, and 13P (-5 AP) on the second.

You presume that what was hurled at you was harmless, and you continue to ignore it in favor of furthering a conflict that you have no hope of winning?  I'm sorry, but dangers don't cease to kill you because you choose to ignore them.  You need to get your shit back on the rails.  The bomb from the gate is now magnetically attached to the side of your vehicle.  You have a short time to decide whether you would like to play this game or simply disrupt it.

After hearing the thump, Makoto took a moment to maneuver away from what she assumed would be a grenade blast, but the explosion never came.

Cursing as she saw the bomb in the exterior cameras. Motoko quickly searched for the bomb's node. She stood a better chance of surviving things inside the van than outside. If this thing had any kind of remote trigger, she could spoof it.

<OOC> Scanning for the bomb's node.

Makoto couldn't seem to find a node for the device.

Motoko sighed, and continued scanning, trying to find that node. Her repair bills would be even higher if that thing went off. And she had absolutely no skill in disarming bombs manually.

<OOC> Scanning again.
