Fractal looks concerned. He thinks for a little while on the entire situation, and then adds his 0,2Ą to the pile of verbal contributions:
"Thanks for the scouting, Mister Lips. Even though you came back unharmed, I understand this was not the only possibility of the whole endeavor. Look, I am not well-versed in these arcane things you mages deal into, so feel free to clarify anything you imagine I'm not understanding; better to repeat ourselves than to commit a mistake. That being said, so far as you people spoke, I understand that our best deals are your first idea - his head montion implies that he is talking about Lips - or the boy's idea of making a drone feel the pain that's planned for us. If we goes up for the former, I believe Sam should be the guy to manage the opening and closing of the door - since he is easily the quickest of us -, but I would understand and respect his will if he resolves he should not be into it. He's wounds are the most recent and deep of us all, so he also need a rest; that being the case, I volunteer, if no one else wants to wear this mantle."
It's not that easy to tell, but something in his expression implies that the elf is not intentionally flourishing his discourse; the graveness of the situation makes it appear that this is his natural way of talking.
"If the latter is the idea, and we choose to send in a drone, I would also volunteer to send the Micro-Tapper Drone we used before. It's mine, and it's cheap enough to not disbalance our payment that much. But would this spell target a non-living creature? If not, is there a way for us to turn a drone in a possible target, fooling the spell? Pardon my ignorance on these matters..."
He's demeanor is the one of a hard thinker, unconfortable for being not on his element.
