Most of the other named cops in the precinct are named after cyberpunk authors.

Reference: In Detroit Police Departement, 3 level, in one of offices, there is a cop Alex Murphy. His email comunication is amazing...the best is the part where his wife Ellen wants him to come soon for a dinner, in case that Lewis wont drag him for another nightshift. Reminds me someone :)
Did you get in the vents and listen to the conversation between his partner and him? His partner keeps asking if he's heard of this Sci-Fi movie from the 80's where they rebuilt this Detroit cop...
Vents nothing.  If you talk your way into the station, you can open the door, stroll right into his office, and chat face-to-face with him and his partner, and they'll comment on your cybernetics compared to Robocop.

There's also a Detective Decker, and the password for his terminal is 'unicorn'.

I was reading page 18 of Augmentations, and suddenly remembered DX: HR. I mean it's like almos all page is dedicated only to commentaries about body-ware and its social impact, about looks and have/have-nots. I somehow was amased how this was so interwined with DX. I mean, SR and DX both about one thing in some correlation, but exactly on this page I felt those thing that DX3 tried so hard to get into players - about people and technology impact on them. It's just like real cyberpank - how people looosing themselves on the background of progress, ideas and technology.
I'm done. it really rouched me somewhere. Wanted to write this.

I've got my hands on this book, and read about his feelings after operation in cybermancy chapter..
That's just... sad.
I mean, it ends somewhat nice and fine - "I was alive". But from description of how this state continues farther, it's all really like a fade into nothingness.

Which is why it's a must-read if the Munchkin in your group wants to be a Cyberzombie.

This necrothreading is worth doing:

Deus Ex: Human revolution - Directors Cut is out on steam and IMO lovely done. Im looking for first "boss" situation, which they said were altered, and more and more on gameplay. Even Intro has some informations prevoisly unknown to me...
