in lieu of any karma, I'd accept nuyen.  But then, you actually don't have much of that either.  You could try sending your contacts a message, see if they know anyone.  Or you could ask your team to ask their contacts.

Karma? He's not the TM, it'll always be nuyen for him to get programs. I did just think of something on that end though.  After the run is done, I could have Predator talk to Tesoki (the loyalty 6 Spider contact) and see if he could arrange for a copy of the program to "disappear" into arknok's hands, but I don't know if arknok would want to owe both Tesoki and Predator a favor THAT big or not, and I'm not sure if you like that idea or not, cabo.

I like the idea.  And it would certainly help arknok.  As for the karma, I figure I just use the same karma cost for TM's to learn new complex forms to make it simple.  Because I couldn't find anything on learning new programs.  I'll take another look, because i'm pretty sure it's in there somewhere.

There's not. That's the benefit Hackers have over Technomancers. They just have to spend money to get better programs. Kind of like how that's the Street Samurai's benefit over Mages, Adepts and Mystic Adepts. The Awakened and Emerged can get more skilled in their specialties (and in the case of Mages affect things a mundane can't touch), but they spend karma rather than money to reach that. Awakened is better End-Game, while mundane is a quicker path.
