I am toying with idea of an astral game.
I am sure enough of you will apply, so I am not checking the interest, just opening the recruitment.
I don't know when the game will start, it will have lower priority then my missions games and the games I am in as player , so assume slower pace (which is probably still going to be five times faster than regular games here after initial hype).
This is going to be a one shot adventure.
Only free spirits are allowed, Black Magic or Witchcraft traditions. Basically you're going to be Deamons in the mortal world.
I need only three sentences background, I expect high kill rate so don't spend too much time on it.

One house rule on EDGE.
Edge point may be spend as Word of Order. basicaly this mean. "Because I say so."
You want a rain, point of Edge, and it's raining, why? Because I say so." Your spell fizzled", why? Because I say so. "You're dead mortal". why? Because I say so.
All you need is a roll of Edge + Edge. The difficulty is the scale of change. single entity or event the target is 1, effect that affect a city treshold 4 or more.
Each Word of Order may be negated by another Word of Order. negation is always one point easier in treshold than the actual order. If treshold reduced to 0 an automatic success.
Using an EDGE in this way require free action and an ability to speak.

- this is low power game - create you character with 650 points Karmagen, with no cost for choosing free spirit metatype, 5 Karma points on attributes, availability restrictions at 12
- this is free spirits game only - please read the introduction in the first post of the IC thread
- only Witchcraft and Black Magic traditions are allowed
- each of you get a spirit pact with demon lord named Kobal who holds your spirit formulaes
- no former ally quality (and generaly no qualities, that would not be allowed under Missions FAQ)
- Adrenaline Surge quality is allowed but renamed to Demonic surge

Flesh artificer (5 BP)
Allows bonding of focis belonging to the Sphere of Flesh. The foci's material form must be known and transported materialy using metrialization/possessed body to be used. The foci must be touching the materialized form or possessed body.
Plane artficer (10 BP)
Allows bonding of focis belonging to the Sphere of Plans. The foci's material form is transported via astral plane. It takes one complex action to summon the foci into any point in the Sphere of Flesh. Each of the foci can be materialized in the Sphere of Flesh or imbued it's essence in the possesion traditions and take one complex action. Plane focis are visible from the planes of the Sphere of Cosmos and are called relics in the Sphere of Flesh. Plane focis costs double amoutn fo BP/Karma during creation. Bonding of the plane focis take double amount of BP/karma.

Place in the Sphere of planes is regarded as a lodge in most aspects (most specifically it has mana barrier that makes it's astral tracking more difficult), may be enhanced with Personal domain critter power, and require 1 BP per point of Force (up to 6) during creation or 1 Karma per point to bind afterwards (ritual takes 1 day per point of Force).

non touch spells are treated as ranged weapons in astral combat
this means for example.
1. in astral combat you can hide behind an aura of another dual or astral being granting you partial cover modifier. on glitch this being is hit instead.
2. you can hide behind opaque items like walls, cars granting standard bonus from partial, good and total cover
3. you can move to avoid being hit
4. if in melee (astral combat) casting a spell have modifeir, like when shooting while in melee
5. visibility modifer apply to both spellcasting and astral combat tests
all modifeirs applies to spellcasting, astral combat as well as to resistance rolls
ie. if a spell is going to hit a target behind a cover in crowded place there is spellcasting - visibility modifer and target use Willpower + cover modifier.
single houserule on that - you can go full defense in astral combat - against melee attacks this is Astral Combat + Astral Combat and against spells this is Willpower + Willpower
