Asset Lockup Raid, this is a scene so here is what happened:
The asset lockup was on the docks, literally, close to the shore but on Pier 29 in Everett. You make a quick recon of the area, and it appears that this was once a high security area, but with Lone Stars removal from policing it’s fallen to ruins. Several gang tags can be seen on walls, a few homeless orks, dwarves and a couple humans have started to squat in two of the old warehouses. But the asset lockup has held its ground, a strong metal door now rusting has been welded shut. The windows have thick bars over them and are barred from the inside. A quick look on the wireless shows no communications coming from the building.
Hank smiles to himself, and reaches into his backpack getting out a stick of TNT. Setting a detonator for 120 seconds judging that one stick would blow the door off the building, waiting for the signal to go before setup the device. “Hey give me 60 seconds to run across to the door, and I’ll blow it off its hinges.”
After a short period of contemplating explosives and blowing the door, a Knight Errant security helicopter flies low overhead. “Looks like the po-po having some Halloweener trouble. Might not be the best idea to attract too much attention” Ramirez says.
Yuri sighs and points at dock edge “let’s take a look from below, cut up from the bottom or blow a small, and I mean small hole.” Looking at Hank pointedly.
After 20 minutes near the dock Ramirez is bored, he’d been sitting in the van on the lookout for the nasty types that would bother a vehicle in this part of town at this time of night. A small bang sounds from his left and across the tac-net you can hear Hank laughing, Yuri swearing in Russian, and Sidhe groan.
“What the hell?” Ramirez asks.
“Hank just blew a hole in the floor boards to get us in, guess he used a bit much,” Mickey responds in a dry voice.
Five minutes later the team throws several duffle bags over the barrier on the docks edge next to the van, they land with a meaty thump. Before the rest jump the barrier and get into the van, Alan’s the last person to get in covering the back with a pistol. Down the street a few local gangers start moving in your direction.
Alan gets into the van and slides the door shut. “Gun it Ramirez we go some Halloweeners coming this way”
Another half an hour later in a small ware house where Yuri holds some business deals you look over the goods. The score was ok, not the greatest, seems the ‘bad’ cops had raided it ahead of you before being replaced.
