Everyone knows Texas is one big Z-Zone with cowboys and injun raiders from over the border.

I'd like in on a game, I've got lots of time on my hands right now.

I can do/be just about anything, but in Texas, I think a low-key rigger?  (Haven't tried one yet, would love to...)  Have to think of a good sideline to go with rigging...no one-trick pony's for me.

In GB, I'd consider a smarmy doxy close-up combatant perhaps with some Face qualities (otherwise, how would she get away with being a smarmy doxy?).  Otherwise a killer nanny pram-pusher, but I just really wanted to hear all those words together in the same paragraph.

I'm all for the Brit idea, having at least BEEN to London...can't say the same for Texas.  But I'm game for Texas.  Nothin' like running around the Lone Star State with some serious wheels...

Well it won't work!... at least not today, anyway. I'll be giving this another day or so to either hopefully resolve itself or for me to make a choice. Some good submissions so far, I'd point out to anyone late to the party and wondering if there's space in the inn that there don't seem to be too many Infiltrators or Faces around.

Both of my elves will secondary as faces (40 bp turns out 7 charisma) and tex can be an infiltrator no problem, slinging 15- ish dice. Sheet to come later.

I think there's a lot of confusion here (at least for me....)
1) too many potential players to even know if I'm in the running...
2) What character type(s) would they play & for which/each campaign setting?  (many of us are flexible -- I certainly am)
3) Getting a clearer picture of the characters in each setting, we might know which setting has inspired the better-knit team.

As I said before, I'm cool with either setting. I will suggest that it's best to take the weird geopolitical situations of SR in stride.  It's stupid and usually mildly offensive all over no matter where you live.  You should however make a ton of fun of the really stupid parts.

Anyways, I'm on the last mile with my character for the Texas game, Jackalope.  He's a Mind Over Matter hacker / all round logic guy who's fairly decent at combat and sneaking.  If you go Limey, I'll make some other dude.  As for character, I'll let him speak for himself:

Did you know I once met Damien Knight?  So here I was in a chopshop with my friend Kyle debating if we wanted to go scare some greater armadillos down by the lake when the newsfax comes in.  It says that Damien Knight was in the Dallas area.  Kyle said I should spoof his car to come here.

I said no way.  Not only don’t I know his accessID, surely someone would notice his Nightsky traveling to some old abandoned movie theater in Granbury.  But Kyle double dared me and there’s no way you can’t refuse a double dare from a friend.  So I try to guess his accessID.  Most people have a random string, but I think Damien Knight must be an egoistical guy running a megacorp and all.  So I try DAMIENKNIGHTISNUMBERONE and holy shit, I get a response from his car!

Now I was sure the driver was just joshin’ me, but an hour later, comes this Nightsky comes in.  Beut’ of a car, but a bitch to clean.  They put the riffdees in all of the oddest places.  But anyways, there’s Damien Knight out there looking like just another tourist with a busted tire.

Also is there any particular style you like for posts like speech in a certain color or rolls spoilered or anything like that?  I'm flexible in style so I can adjust to people's preferences.

IMO the character fits in both areas, and as someone else said before, Ive been to London at least, well Ive met the girl there, who thought that America was discovered by Christoph Colombo with his ship Mayflower...she was from Austin, Texas...so I gues a have a spiritual link to both of those places...

EDIT: Also if Karmagen is allowed, Id love to have an oportunity to recreate Steam with Karma.

I was seeing an awful lot of metahumans in the applications (maybe even SURGEd too) .  I'm going to suggest going with the Glory theme/concept where CAS rounds up these Metas into a "Separate but Equal" unit and puts some human in charge of them.
